Let's take it further and ask when military force is going to be used to stop people from destroying the environment. I'm serious.
How about a green army sent to the amazon to stop them from totally wiping out the "lungs of the world" ( as the Amazon is called by biologists).
Yes people should be prosecuted.
1. violation of the first amendment
2. it is a politicization of science - see Lysenkoism in the Soviet Union, where the official science of Lysenkoism meant Mendel's genetics was heresy per the state
3. there are RICO level actions by a number of groups from the East Anglia Climate Research Unit and others actively preventing papers with contrary explanations for global warming (like solar, natural phenomena) being published AND NASA and the NOAA altering real world data to suit models instead of the models adjusted to fit real world data
Despite how ignorant it may be to deny climate change, prosecuting those who do not accept it is a bit harsh. Education is the way to combat ignorance.

I'm confused. I've read and heard arguments that global warming is really just part of a natural temperature change process for the earth. I've also read that it's completely man-made? Is it one or both of these? Please explain.
