I am a skeptic. The claims by the Climate scientists have been exaggerated in my opinion. They are putting the blame on human activity as the primary driver. I am doubtful. I am just not sure how much of it is man-made and how much is due to natural cycles of our Sun and planets. History tells us our planets has undergone vast changes in both climate and weather. In any case, it is crucial that we learn the underlying mechanism of climate change before undergoing drastic measures to combat it. The changes like reducing fossil fuels has dramatic implications for all of us, especially those in the third world whose livelihood depends on a cheap energy source.
It's difficult with all the natural causes to determine just what the exact cause/combination of causes result in warming, but it's simple to show humanity’s greenhouse gas emissions&aerosol pollution is negligible.Warming happens w or wo us
Your question couldn't be more vague. It depends on what you mean by climate change.
The climate changes everywhere on earth from time to time to some extent depending on what measurements of it you look at so that is not bogus.
But I suspect you mean "Is man made global warming real or bogus?" "Is climate change real or bogus?" is not asking that question but if I am reading your mind correctly, no one knows nor can know whether man made global warming is real or bogus. Only time will tell, no scientific so called "evidence" will answer that question nor any consensus of any group of scientists, politicians, businesses or countries will ever answer that question.
The facts are that there are so many variables and factors that create the global climate there is no way to predict the actual causes of global warming, what the climate will be like 5, 10 or 20 years from now and history proves that, has proven so many predictions wrong, proven so many computer models wrong, virtually all but proven that mankind's ability to affect the global climate through his use of fossil fuels is less than negligible.
“Global warming” refers to the global-average temperature increase that has been observed over the last one hundred years or more. But to many politicians and the public, the term carries the implication that mankind is responsible for that warming. There is government-funded research that suggests global warming is mostly natural, and that the climate system is quite insensitive to humanity’s greenhouse gas emissions and aerosol pollution. Believe it or not, very little research has ever been funded to search for natural mechanisms of warming…it has simply been assumed that global warming is manmade. This assumption is rather easy for scientists since we do not have enough accurate global data for a long enough period of time to see whether there are natural warming mechanisms at work.
Ask yourself this question, is it really scientific for scientists who research global warming to simply assuming it is manmade? That's not science or scientific but it is evidence, evidence that scientists have been co-opted in a preconceived political agenda to give government more power over industry and our lives....wake up. Oh, yeah, then there is this guy:

Man made global warming, just one more evidence EVERYTHING IS RIGGED: Medicine, science, elections, the media, money, education, search engines, social media... you are living in a fabricated fairy tale

Climate change and global warming and cooling are just plain of facts of life. Ask the Woolly Mammoth, the dinosaurs and those dudes coming across the Bering Straight. Anyone who denies that the climate of the earth changes is bonkers. And anyone who claims that man is so important that he has a significant effect on the changing of the climate is also bonkers.
Take a hike down into the bottom of the Grand Canyon and take a look at the evidence of seas and receding seas and new seas and gone seas. You hike a mile vertical and some of the seas only make up about 3 feet of the sediment. while others are hundreds of feet deep.
Figure ten good size volcanoes all at once on the earth would drop our global temperatures up to 20 degrees easily. Don't even get started on Solar activity.
Does the earth's climate change -- it so obviously does only an idiot could deny it.
Does man have a significant impact on that fact? It sure seems unlikely to me.
You know it is bogus when they renamed it from "warming" to climate change so they could blame everything from hot to cold on industrialization.
The models are dramatically over-predicting warming and droughts, while NASA, NOAA and other groups are altering real world data to fit the models than adjust the models to fit the data.

95% of Climate Models Agree: The Observations Must be Wrong
http://www.drroyspencer.com/2014/02/95- … -be-wrong/
But climate science is held up as perfect consensus because:
* the more doom and gloom you pronounce, the more likely you get full funding
* for the sake of the planet replaces for the sake of the children for any political agenda, and unlike children, only those making the claim will ever speak for the Earth
* it gives you an excuse to control everything from production to consumption to interference with human rights of speech and travel
Absolutely right on every count, I couldn't have said it better myself.
Not according to ethical scientists and paleontologists, as opposed to pseudo-scientists, who preach that the world is going to end unless we throw away even more money into Kyoto treaties and the like...
By the way, the hockey stick graph and Michael Mann are pure crap (excuse my French). No serious scientist has any respect for his "work" and that is putting it mildly.

About 97% of all scientists accept a simple fact: Human activity on the planet Earth is contributing to global climate change. And as NOAA's National Climatic Data Center indicates: "It is worth noting that increasing global temperature is only one element of observed global climate change....

I'm confused. I've read and heard arguments that global warming is really just part of a natural temperature change process for the earth. I've also read that it's completely man-made? Is it one or both of these? Please explain.
