Can anyone share some positives on Scott Pruitt being appointed as head of the EPA?
The positive is having someone who is a climate change skeptic to oversee an organization whose main task is the Environmental Protection. Clean, air, clean water and reducing toxic waste ... and not to regulate the type of bulbs or toilets we have in our homes. Moreover, they have used their regulations to shut down the coal industry and killing many jobs. The debate over human caused global warming is not over as Al Gore claim. There are numerous scientists that agree with me... They are just not being heard. A fresh look at this theory is warranted and we may need to mitigate the effects of climate change but they are not a top priority. We have time on our side to do this. There are a few other issues that could be more devastation in the short range. The EPA needs to go back to the basics and finally the CO2 gas is not a pollutant.
The EPA needs to be decontaminated and staffed with people who do not use their power to convince people of lies for their own profit. The EPA needs leadership that will pursue truth where the important matters they oversee are concerned, and solutions to issues that are realistic without fear-mongering the public, especially children. The EPA needs to be staffed with people who have the ability to think and act in a balanced and responsible manner on behalf of this country and the world.
