UK General Election 2017 the Government Now Laughing Stock of the World?

There was no need to call the General Election, but with the Conservatives being 24% ahead in the polls the Prime Minister wanted to increase her 12 majority; but it backfired big time, and now she has a minority Government fully dependent on the DUP in Northern Ireland for a narrow majority of 2 votes over all other political parties. A controversial decision as it breaks the British Governments neutrality in the Northern Ireland Peace Treaty of 1999.

How does the rest of the world see Theresa May, does she look like a good leader or does she look like a lame duck?

Theresa May underestimated the "Massive GLOBAL Resistance of GOOD" which is Steadily Building STRENGTH Internationally ~ A Grass Roots Righteous Movement which is Explicitly Designed 2 "Abate & STOP" the Elitist CONservative Aggression AIMED Against "WE the PEOPLE" ~ GREED Driven Wealthy "Putin-PUPPETs" like Donnie Trump who was GIFTED the U.S. Presidency by the Greatest "DARK Force" on the Planet called Vladimir Putin and Theresa May who has tried to Facilitate the SEVERE Weakening of NATO by Executing "BREXIT" which will GOD Forbid NEVER Happen,  will not last much longer primarily because in the END, "GOOD Always Triumphs OVER Evil" ~

ALL of Donald John's Strange Bizzare Looking CORRUPT Clones Across EUROPE including the UK, have been DEFEATED Decisively in recent elections, Europeans are obviously observing the MASSIVE Mess of Corruption, LIEs & Unprecedented Danger "Drumpf" is  causing in the USA & on a GLOBAL Basis and they're saying NO Thanks to that, we need to "Stabilize & SAVE" Our Planet, not PILLAGE & Destroy it like Elitist Weirdo Donald and his entire CORRUPT Cabinet are DESPERATELY Trying to do ~

If there's a "massive global resistance of good", why did Theresa May lose?

I don’t know how the rest of the world see’s Teresa May, I can only speak from a British perspective.  In that respect, not just the few newspapers who usually support Labour, but also the rest of the British Press who normally support the Conservatives, have turned on Teresa May big time.

An opinion poll released today shows that 60% of Conservative supporters want Theresa May to resign, and likewise two thirds of her own MPs feel she should resign.

Teresa May’s close ties with Trump hasn’t helped her either because millions of the British pubic loath him, as evident by several petitions to the Government in the past year, the most recent of which is shown in this video:-

UK: More than a million sign petition for Trump state visit to be cancelled https://youtu.be/bvfrzX35gXU

Trump has insulted many of America's allies - his mouth was a problem before he was elected, and it remains so.

Yep, diplomacy isn’t one of his strong points.

I was a vote counter in Leicester on 8th June and had a few words with a winning MP (Keith Vaz). He is not alone in thinking that another general election cannot be far down the road - minority governments do not last long in the UK, because they cannot enact their promised programmes and sooner or later will lose a Commons vote.

Theresa May will not win many friends by being dependent on the DUP, whose outlook is far removed from the liberal consensus subscribed to by the vast majority of British MPs of all other parties.

Theresa May's position does not look good, but who is likely to replace her? Boris Johnson maybe? As Britain's answer to Donald Trump he would certainly stir things up!

Highlighted in news yesterday; the Salisbury Convention (House of Lords Reform 1911) only applies to Legislation in a manifesto.  Therefore, as most of the Queens Speech will not have been in Manifesto, it will unusually give the Lords veto powers.

Arthur, I heard yesterday that one reason for delaying the Queen's Speech is that the vellum on which it is written has to be specially prepared from goat skin and this takes more than a week to do!

And of course the Queens speech can’t be written until the conclusion of negations with DUP’s shopping list of wants, to secure their support; which can’t include anything to unduly upset the Scottish Conservatives e.g. DUPs Policies against LGBT.

I'm looking at her from the USA and from my perspective she looks absolutely marvelous.  Everything's relative.  We have you topped for craziness right now.

It's getting worse for TM - not helped by her appearance of lack of feeling over the Kensington fire tragedy. Few people think she can last much longer in office.

Yep Jo, Trump and May are two peas in a pod.  He might be crazier, but as John said, she’s not likely to last in office as long; some are predicting only six months, some as long as two years.
