   Do you hope that Obama"care" will be overturned?
   
   So far Obama"care" has been disastrous.  Obama instituted this healthcare in order to have government interfere w/healthcare which should be left up to the individual.  To reiterate, the health care system in America was fine before Obama took over. Now, look at the mess America is in because of Obama"care".

   I'm self-employed, and couldn't afford health insurance for about 10 years before the ACA passed. Insurance for a single woman my age, even for a really poor plan, cost about the same amount per month as my mortgage payment. As someone who is self-employed, 100% of that cost comes out of my pocket each month. It just wasn't realistic.
   
   The year before the ACA passed, I was diagnosed with cancer. I paid for life-saving surgery and treatment from my own pocket, which pretty much wiped out my retirement fund. I didn't lose my house, but I was wiped out otherwise.
   
   I've had insurance I can afford since the ACA passed. I see the same primary care doctor regularly. I can afford to pay for my medication. Instead of praying that a disaster doesn't strike, and putting off seeking medical help until it requires a trip to the emergency room, I can simply go see my doctor. And I no longer have to worry that every little ache and pain might be the start of the thing that will cause me to lose my house.
   
   So no, Grace, I don't hope the Affordable Care Act will be overturned. Thanks so much for asking.

      Perhaps GRACE is confused ~ The "DISASTER" is the Trump Pseudo-Presidency, an ABOMINATION ~ He'll meet INDICTMENT Soon 4 Obstruction of Justice, Abuse of P, Conspiracy with Russians 2 SUBVERT the USA etc ~ We must let ObamaCARE/ACA Stand

   I don't have a job, or any way to get a job. The only money I make I make online. I haven't had healthcare since 2002. I had paid for it for around 8 years, and never once used it.
   
   I can't help but feel disgusted over the forty bucks a month I paid for so many years for nothing. What a scam. Well, I hope someone received some decent care for the money I paid. Sure wasn't me.
   
   So I don't suppose I have a reason to care either way. If I get very ill, I suppose I'll go to the emergency room.

      Great response, Wes.  Obamacare is pure BS.  As I have stated endlessly, healthcare in America was just fine until Obummler became president.  Hopefully, Trump will overturn this disastrous healthcare.

   Yes.  I'd like to be able to purchase catastrophic insurance - right now I'm prevented from doing that by the ACA.
