How do I prevent threads from appearing on my feed?
There's a thread that keeps coming up on my feed that I "unfollowed". It's likely to continue on for weeks given the inherent turpitude of the subject. I need to get rid of it. It's dominating my feed. Help.
The only thing I know of is using the 'Feed Settings' at the upper right of your feed. There are blanket settings for options there. However, some of them overlap. For example below are the options for the Forums.

by users you are following
in forums of topics that you are following

Are spam comments supposed to show up in our feed? I've never noticed them before, but all of these latest spam comments are appearing in my feed on the home page, and I've received a notification email about three of them (even though they were correctly marked as spam by HubPages).

We now can limit the feed, through the feed filter, to one thing--Hubs, etc. But there is no way, from what I can tell, to just exclude one thing from the feed--specifically, forum threads, which was what I was trying to exclude. I went to My Account and unfollowed forums that I had been following....
