Interesting that the mainstream media isn't telling its following of the incredible accomplishments of Trump in comparisons to Obama's phony ones ?  No. and So.  Korea  may eliminate the DMZ , end nuclear proliferation , actually meeting in person  and discussing policies . Fairly unprecedented ?

Liberals may Ignore this but it's politically  profound , but then so was Trump's tax cuts
and many other of our accomplishments  .

As with all Trumps verifiable political accomplishment , the obstructionists are too busy normalizing Bernie Sanders fantasy life into the mainstream of the democratic party .Rather than count the positives let's invent negatives .Seems the new left is outmaneuvering the old guard. The old guard democrat is dead ?

I give him credit for helping. Truthfully I think his role is somewhere between the right saying “this is all because of Trump” and the left saying “Trump had nothing to do with this.” It was a culmination of people and factors coming together. Trump was one of those people/factors. I know SK has always viewed the US as a good friend and I’m happy the relationship is still strong.

However, I am really skeptical. This is potentially a monumental step towards good. But it’s also potentially just NK putting on a show and saying one thing while doing another. Again. I guess we’ll have to wait and see. I hope they finally find peace, Korea is so lovely and the South has been looking towards unification for a long time. I really hope they get it.

Some say that NK's nuke program has very recently utterly  failed , the collapse of the test sight tunnels ,a mountain actually , in satellite photo's makes Kim desperate now to end the seemingly eternal economic sanctions . China's reluctance to continually defend them , reunite the long divided families and end his paranoia ? He can only gain from dropping his long held stupidity .

Yep, they’re backed into a corner. But that’s part of why I’m skeptical. If he’s agreeing to peace because he has no choice rather than actually wanting peace I’m not sure it can ever be stable. The hope is that with unification comes some more freedom and autonomy for the North Korean people, who are really his last remaining asset.

I agree, that is the best outcome. How NK come to the peace table is not as important as the long term prospect. Look what happened in East Germany after the reunification... I am hoping once NK people experience the positive effects of democracy and free enterprise...via South Korean’s experience, they will come around and join the rest of rhe human race.

The new revelation of the collapsed facility puts this all in a new and suspicious perspective. I want peace but I'm not sure that this is going to prove a step toward it. Lets all hope for the best.

The fact liberals downplay the Trump involvement in peace between the the two Koreas is such nonsense when you consider Kim saying " I will agree to peace as long as the U.S doesn't  invade No Korea ? "   Sounds  like the  perfect credit to Trumpism to me ....?  Obama sure as heck wouldn't have threatened them that way .
