Yes, the Supreme Court was divided (5-4) just like the USA.

I like to think that's true, but there's a lot of people in this country (USA) who would be very happy with open borders.

I still, for the life of me, cannot understand how any court or any person could ever find it was religious discrimination when the large majority of Muslims were not affected and when only people in those countries that cannot vet travelers were affected - all of them whether Muslim or not.

All I can say is that it is obvious (as it often is) that courts render decisions along party platforms rather than law or even reason.

These lower federal  circuit courts have a lot of Obama holdover activist judges . Liberal state legislatures - liberal courts ,liberal judges .  I didn't attend law school or college but know a political shell game judge AND decision when I see one .

      Right or left.

I suppose I expect a judge, even a liberal one, to uphold the law and leave their personal feelings at home.

Foolish of me, I know, but I am the eternal optimist.

If Hillary had been elected, the Supreme Court would be leaning left now too.
