There is no doubt that Putin and any Russian conspiracies against America and the western world have been given exorbitant amounts of power by Trump obstructionists in his American resistance ?
Collusion , Yes , from democratic sheep , TDS is a potent US enemy ?
You know, I've wondered about Putin and the left. When you think about it, he was a KGB agent in the Socialist Republic. He kind of wields the same power the socialists did. Why wouldn't he be weaving little webs, working toward bringing socialists to power here.
I wondered about Hillary screaming 'the Russians are coming, the Russians are coming'. Something about that always seemed so off. Like she was trying to redirect our attention away from something else.
The USSR was never a socialist contry, but a detictatorship ruled by the elite. Today, Rusia is a kapitalist country just like the US.
There are living more millionairs in Moskow then in New York.
Thats why Trump and Putin are good friends, they are both Millionair capitalists who only care for the elite to stay in power.
LOL. I get it. When socialism doesn't work and shows the natural course attempts to implement socialism takes....We rename it so we can pretend the failure never happened.
Gotta love the blind.
Nope, you should look up what the term socialism means. Definately not Stalinism.
You should accept the fact that a capitalist and democratic system implementing social programs it can afford is the only viable option. Socialism has always devolved into tyranny. Name one where it didn't.
I do Live and Learn. I'm a social-democrat. Which means I support a society based upon democracy with a representative vote system and social programs and laws. Like Germany, Holland or Sweden. Rich countries that have implemented socialist ideas.
And indeed the USSR was a tyranny, so is China and Venezuela. And that's why you could not call the USSR a socialist, or even a communist country. It was and still is a Tyranny. Socialism and communism was hijacked in 1929 when Stalin came to power. End of experiment.
We need to be clear and honest. Otherwise, the kids think socialism works. As history has shown, it always devolves into tyranny. You naively claim it was hijacked. Such naivety is dangerous.
Yes we should be clear and honest. Meaning telling kids what socialism means and telling them what kapitalism means. These are both complicated concepts. And you have them in a lot of different flavours.
There is a huge difference in how Trotsky saw communism as Lenin did, or Stalin. Stalin was simply a dictator and changed the concept of communism into elitism. dont call me naive Live to Learn. And again I agree with you naivity is dangerous, and kids should get the best education and tought properly about these concepts.
To me both systems work best when they are together.
Antifa has evolved into a political protest machine spouting anarchy . They destroy property , mask their political intentions and identities equally . They don't belong in America .
They've evolved into the brown shirts of Germany.
Live to learn dont you think that to compare the antifacists with the SA a bit over the top.....
Please be carefull with your choise of words. Sentences like these contribute to a simplistic political debate, without nuance.
You tell me. The brown shirts stifled free speech. So does Antifa. The Nazis burned books. The left does to, for all intents and purposes. Even Doctor Seuss is not immune. The Nazis and Soviets persecuted Jews. The left in America is anti Semitic.
I think the evidence speaks for itself.
Wow. I thought I was reading an ahorseback post.
Just calling it as it has played out these last two years. Well, three. We've always known factions of the Democratic party were anti Semitic. I will admit I was not shocked, but found myself disappointed when I saw the internal DNC emails which showcased it was more prevalent than previously suspected.
Live and Learn as you are against anti-fascism I call you a fascist sympathizer. The same applies to horseback.
LOL. This Antifa has nothing to do with anti fascism. I suppose it was inevitable that the left, in their desire to redefine reality, would come up against roadblocks which would require redefining words, and rewriting history.
Jordan Peterson made an interesting observation. He said the right had defined its line in the sand as to what it considers extremism. But, the left doesn't seem to know where its line is. If you can't denounce Antifa for what it is then, in my opinion, you support fascist behavior and communist ideals.
So you spent more time critisizing an anti fascist movement instead of critisizing fascists.
That says enough.
Live To Learn and all true Americans should feel encouraged and hopeful in these unprecedented dark Trumpian times that only a tiny handful of backward 'unite the right' nazi sympathizers showed up in DC the other day while thousands of united citizens showed up to obstruct and protest their seething hatred of democracy and everything good:
I'm not sure the constitution allows right wing hate mongers like nazi sympathizers the privilege of 'freedom of speech': I think the founders would be appalled at the thought of giving these creatures a public platform:
And just another failure to add to his disastrous tenure, Mr. Trump again refused to condemn the right wing fascists: UNREAL
Your response is fine, I guess you're not encouraged in these darkest of times that only a handful of right wing 'unite the right' nazis showed up and met thousands of anti-nazis:
Hey. As I said. I'd rather see 30 pathetic individuals afforded the right to embarrass themselves than stand against peaceful free speech.
Call me a person who believes in the spirit of the Constitution. I realize that document is an inconvenience to you.
Does America not stand for freedom of speech?

Rarely do I get involved with Politics -especially American. However, recently, I came across several photos depicted the US President with the likeness of one A. Hitler. I really do not see the comparison. Good and close friends of mine fled völkisch nationalism and can tell you first hand,...

One of the greatest criticisms leveled at socialist and perceived socialist nations is their high taxes, usually reinforced with the example of France and it's high tax rates under a newly elected socialist government.Let's examine that claim factually, a quick analysis will prove it false.For...

Many people who call themselves Conservatives, IMO, aren't. Many people who Conservatives call Socialists, aren't. In studying politics, I ran across a couple of lectures which identified what the professor called minimal-state liberals (Libertarians) and active-state liberals (modern...

The Nazi philosophy can be broken down into five major principles. Interestingly enough Communism/socialism shares many of the same principles. Which makes sense if you fascism and communism as two halves of the same coin. Those five principles are:CollectivismInstinctZero-sum...

Certainly the history of socialism is mired in failure and has never come close to the sought after dream that it proposes. The socialism of Nazi Germany, the abssolute brutality of the Soviet Union and China; the more modern attempts by European countries serve to cloud the altruism, peace and...
