   You know, I've wondered about Putin and the left. When you think about it, he was a KGB agent in the Socialist Republic. He kind of wields the same power the socialists did. Why wouldn't he be weaving little webs, working toward bringing socialists to power here.
   
   I wondered about Hillary screaming 'the Russians are coming, the Russians are coming'. Something about that always seemed so off.  Like she was trying to redirect our attention away from something else.

      The USSR was never a socialist contry, but a detictatorship ruled by the elite. Today, Rusia is a kapitalist country just like the US.
      There are living more millionairs in Moskow then in New York.
      Thats why Trump and Putin are good friends, they are both Millionair capitalists who only care for the elite to stay in power.

               You should accept the fact that a capitalist and democratic system implementing social programs it can afford is the only viable option. Socialism has always devolved into tyranny. Name one where it didn't.

                  I do Live and Learn. I'm a social-democrat. Which means I support a society based upon democracy with a representative vote system and social programs and laws. Like Germany, Holland or Sweden. Rich countries that have implemented socialist ideas.
                  And indeed the USSR was a tyranny, so is China and Venezuela. And that's why you could not call the USSR a socialist, or even a communist country. It was and still is a Tyranny. Socialism and communism was hijacked in 1929 when Stalin came to power. End of experiment.

                        Yes we should be clear and honest. Meaning telling kids what socialism means and telling them what kapitalism means. These are both complicated concepts. And you have them in a lot of different flavours.
                        There is a huge difference in how Trotsky saw communism as Lenin did, or Stalin. Stalin was simply a dictator and changed the concept of communism into elitism. dont call me naive Live to Learn. And again I agree with you naivity is dangerous, and kids should get the best education and tought properly about these concepts.
                        To me both systems work best when they are together.

                                    Just calling it as it has played out these last two years. Well, three. We've always known factions of the Democratic party were anti Semitic. I will admit I was not shocked, but found myself disappointed when I saw the internal DNC emails which showcased it was more prevalent than previously suspected.

I suppose it was inevitable that the left, in their desire to redefine reality, would come up against roadblocks which would require redefining words, and rewriting history.
                                    
                                    Jordan Peterson made an interesting observation. He said the right had defined its line in the sand as to what it considers extremism. But, the left doesn't seem to know where its line is. If you can't denounce Antifa for what it is then, in my opinion, you support fascist behavior and communist ideals.
