Why is "Liberal" Corporate America acting so selectively ?

    CITI , for instance ,  is operating in ideologically influence trade practices .   Cutting off credit to selective corporations ,  firearm manufacturers and distributors ,  conservative  retail companies, conservative think tanks etc............?

    Look it up it's in the news .

      Corporate America used to make decisions that would provide value to their stockholders and stakeholders.  Today they make decisions that pander to anything that will keep them out of the crosshairs of the Liberal Media.  That being said, the actions that your briefly mention would appear to be an offshoot of my last statement or maybe they think it will bring them positive coverage and paint them in some better (artificial) light.

      What they fail to realize is that the very audience they are trying to garner favor with would drop them in a heartbeat for even a slight infraction.  Secondly, they foolishly alienate half of their potential customer pool.  Major retail powerhouses such as Target, Kellogg's and Starbuck's have all taken hits over their social policies from the half of America which doesn't agree with them.

      I find it odd that shareholders nationwide haven't collectively sent a message to all companies to just stay out of politics and market their products.

    " They foolishly alienate half of their audience ........" Absolutely RJ.,  I actually cannot wait for the awakening of conservative America to 'returning fire "  by passive participation to change the very markets playing in such ideological activism .

    My hope , CITI for one , will suffer great losses financially .
