Really? Hero? King? God? I think you may be severely overestimating how much anyone ever cared about this person, but leave it to you to amp up the hysterics.

In fairness, I think avanatti gave himself those titles.

Kavanaugh was innocent until proven guilty, which is why he is now on the Supreme Court, so the same rule applies to Avenatti.

That comment would never have been made were Avanatti a Republican. Innocent until proven guilty isn't even thought of until it's someone on the left being accused.

I'm getting confused about what makes up "vitriol" by the right -- it doesn't seem to exist on here according to some people -- versus vitriol by the left.  wink

When I get off work, I'll review your comments on the Cavanaugh conversation. If you were saying innocent until proven guilty there, I'll come back and apologize for the comment here.

                From the Kavanaugh debate:

You: "Allegations which were immediately walked back. You are proving the point that this man's name was smeared."

Me: "You misunderstand me. I'm saying he was innocent because he wasn't proven guilty, which is why he got on the court. Nor was he smeared because his accusers weren't proven guilty either."

I'm not looking for an apology. I would simply like the level of civility we recently reached on a few other issues like the synagogue massacre.

Thanks for doing that research. If you are an innocent until proven guilty believer.... I'm happy to have a kindred spirit. I won't say I didn't laugh when I heard avanatti had been arrested but I don't assume him guilty either. However, if it is just a b.s. complaint, it's fair play... after his antics. It's even funnier.

Your point being what? That an arrest means he is automatically guilty?

Do you think it is worth mentioning that Justice Kavanaugh was never formally charged with anything?  That is not the case with Michael Avenatti. I agree he is innocent until proven guilty.  I also believe it is important to point out Kavanaugh was never arrested for anything.  The public allegations against him were unproven and unsubstantiated. They are two very different situations.

Just pointing out facts as usual Aime . Had he and Stormy been successful in an impeachment cause , you'd all have been  happy hypocrites .

For me , the most obvious and actually humorous is the hypocrisy embraced by the left , from this point on there will be no Avenatti in the DNC gossip circles .   Who'd have ever dreamed such bottom feeders would placate the news media for so long , porn stars , greasy attorneys and  Hollywood's opines like Robert De Niro's vulgarity , Kathy Griffin's bloodsport ?

A new day in defining reality ?

It's laughable when democrats demand impeachment over a rumor but demand proof when one of their own is compromised by actual arrests!

    Hypocrites by definition .
