Mitch McConnell has disagreed with Trump twice recently. First it was the withdrawal of troops from Syria, and now with Trumps statement about the ignorance of our intelligence services.

Does he see the handwriting on the wall at last because of the many indictments around Donnie, or is it his own hide he's thinking of? Do tell!

Wily Mitch will ditch Donnie in a heartbeat when the timing is right, and that is fast approaching. If The Great Deal Maker can't avoid another shutdown, it may be sooner than we think.

Yes, and if Mitch had some guts, the shutdown would've never happened. I agree the pressure is increasing on him to take a stand one way or another.

Here's one answer as to WHY "Mutt" McConnell appears to be "Dumping" Trump but he still voted in favor of lifting sanctions on our Russian enemies and there appears to be very good reasons WHY:

Recent Polling: "Who do you trust on border security"?

    Democrats ~ 50%
    Bozo Trump / Republicans ~ 41%

I guess Bozo Trump's apparent inability to accept the fact that 95% of drugs cross through ports of entry or arrive through the mail and the majority of undocumented individuals FLY into our airports from different countries are just another reason WHY this whole ridiculous wall sham has imploded in in his face: He's obviously a very sick elderly man and it's pathetic: Not to mention CONFISCATION of Private Property must be completed before pouring of a useless 2,000 mile concrete wall could even have begun:

Mitch is trying to walk a fine line between keeping Donnie happy and doing his job. Failing in both, it seems.

I agree Randy, and how on Earth does a card carrying member of the SHRINKING Russian Republican Party like "Mutt" McConnell, a strange frail looking fellow who presides over one of the POOREST States in the union, become leader of anything?

He and his other Republican Communist appeaser "Space Dude" Rand Paul have done an excellent job of driving Kentucky into the dirt by shifting our wealth toward the filthy rich with no shame or regret and that's ABOMINABLE, they will be judged accordingly"

"Kentucky has a higher percentage of people living in poverty than all but one of the surrounding, contiguous states — West Virginia has 19.1 percent of its residents living in poverty. ... The federal poverty line is defined as a family of four with a family income of $24,850 or less.Sep 13, 2018"

With Kentucky's record of poverty, how DID Mitch get his position in the senate?

Good question Randy, his state is in steep decline from many of his abominable actions like using socialism to "SHIFT" our wealth over to his filthy rich owners and his approval ratings are in the toilet, so maybe this is the answer:

Jake, your link sure makes things a bit clearer as to why Mitch is so adamant in pleasing Trump. Yes, this will more than likely come under scrutiny now we have some honest people on the House Intel committees.
