He has serval ideas on how to stop the failing program from getting worse. Trump was certainly not responsible for the mess SS is in. That blue ribbon goes to many presidents before him. Yes, many Republicans want to push that law back to what we had previously. Requiring insurance companies to cover preexisting conditions hurts them, and it also raises insurance premiums for current coverage.

  Trump does belittle others. I find it abhorrent. He is not alone in insulting others. As a white woman who voted against Hillary I can say I have been belittled by quite a few more on the left, than just one person. I find that offensive also. Trump is not responsible for those insults.
  
  You say Trump is not worthy of America. I say America is above being poor sports and finding every possible reason to deride him. We are above these insults. You want any to support your outrage? Don't be partisan when displaying it. Call it out all the way around.

  And I appreciate your opinion. The thing of it is that the left, being defined as the powers that be and the vocal SJW and Antifa (who use violence and bullying) are what I define as the left. In fairness, I define the right as the ones who are rabidly pro life, hypocritically Christian and people like Ed. Neither is representative of the majority of Americans. Perhaps our definitions are different? You call me right but I am not by my definition.
  
  It's all in how you look at things. I disagree with wilderness on a lot, but I find his arguments reasonable and thought out. I don't have to agree with what he says at all times to chime in when I think he's made a valid point.
  
  I will comment (and don't take offense, this is simply what has been my observation) that those who identify as left are less willing to draw lines in the sand as to what is and is not acceptable by any claiming to be left, or liberal. I don't see any calling out mobs and the associated violence that threatens to entail. I don't see anything but excuses when calls are made to act in ways that can easily devolve to violence. I don't see any outrage when women are demeaned for not goose stepping to their tune. I don't see any outrage when Democratic men are accused of harassment. I don't see any outrage when racist comments are leveled against people of color who are conservative.
  
  I do get it, to some extent. I see the Democratic party as attempting to be some sort of umbrella organization with no agreed upon agenda. Simply an alternative to the right. I would think it would be very hard wanting to caucus with disparate groups, wanting to show solidarity even when you might not wholeheartedly agree with every detail of what they are hoping to achieve.

Trump has claimed he will not let SS be affected. as Obama did... Trump is not the president that created problems with SS he just may help save it though.

  Once again it will take 2/3 of the Senate to impeach. Jake just because you actually put in in writing just does not make it true... I provide clear facts, all you need to do is read them... Oh, and A peoples congress would be one that works for the people to solve problems, not create imaginary problems. Jake, the Republicans have the Senate, they are pretty much final say bud... They are nothing but obstructionist that won't cooperate with Trump but will get nothing done due to the Senate and Trump.
