Here is a real case of how one person was treated because of DACA...
Why can’t our government fix one simple aspect of the immigration crisis?
I place the blame on President Obama who could have addressed this when he was in control of both houses of Congress. He chose not to and then issued an executive order on DACA known full well it was unConstitutional. Later, when Trump tried to fix this the right way with legislation, the Democrats refused to negotiate using the funding of the wall as an excuse. They had no intention to solve this problem. I also blame our courts and judges that violated their own duties to uphold the Constitution when they ruled against Trump on DACA.
Here is the detail on this cas...

As someone who supports building the wall, I feel bad for this individual.
She deserve a better treatment from our government. We have sactuary city policies to protect criminals and yet, a person who was brought here at the age of 3, grows up, went to college and working in a productive job is treated worse than a criminal.
What is wrong with this picture?
Shame on every member of Congress for failing to do their job...pass a legislation to address this specific isssue. We don’t need to wait for some illusive comprehensive plan...

Actually, the lack of a comprehensive plan is a good part of why such things happen.  Our exalted leadership is not, and never was, interested in solving immigration problems, leaving piecemeal, partial solutions implemented illegally (DACA, sanctuary cities and states, refusal to identify illegals when handing out entitlements, etc.).

Yes, shame on congress for not fixing this (and all other immigration issues) decades ago.  Obama had a chance, just as everyone in the last 50-100 years has...and none have accomplished anything at all.

Why do we need a comprehensive plan?
Why can’t we do it piece meal...like almost all other problems?
Why not pass legislation to fund the wall? When we have tried everything else and none has worked.
Why not address the anchor baby problem which is epedemic in some regions like from China?
Why not crack down on overstay of VISA?
Why not deal with caravans coming in masses that overrun our border security?
The comprehensive idea is just an excuse to do nothing because it is too hard...

It does not have to be that way. We can deal with it incrementally....

              Yep.

"Although they get a renewable permit to live and work in the U.S., DACA provides neither a permanent status nor a path to a permanent status. Instead, ... it's an admission from the government that an individual holds low priority for detention and deportation."
