   Dear people,
   
   For those of you out there who long to see an end to corruption and immorality in society I ask you to please read about how a relatively unheard of brutal massacre in West Bengal in 1982 affected and still affects today people in all corners of the globe. 
   
   Seventeen people were beaten with steel rods and burnt to death in broad daylight and still today, not one single arrest has been made. 
   
   One might imagine that the murders were the result of gang fights or such like but in fact, they were carried out on innocent monks and nuns, members of a global socio-spiritual organisation which was, and still is today, working to remove the destructive forces from society.  When, after some years, pressure was put on the then ruling forces in West Bengal to carry out an enquiry into the massacre it was declared that ‘these things happen’ and the enquiry was never made. 
   
   This article recounts the commemoration day of the event in 2019 told by an overseas member of the same socio-spiritual organisation who is based in West Bengal.
   I ask you to extend your support simply by reading and being aware of what is going on in society around the world.
