According to various sources, democratic mayor of Boston, Marty Walsh, is calling out Sony for being ANTI ASIAN for skipping out in the PAX East convention in Boston, which is where Sony was originally supposed to debut a demo of a few items they have coming soon to be released for sale to the public. However, Sony has cancelled presentations at this time because of the increasing concerns of the coronavirus, with a statement that they view their employees safety to be their utmost priority above all else. Meanwhile, the mayor of Boston, who's a democrat, and he's been serving since 2014, has stated that Sony doing this reinforces dangerous Asian stereotypes, and how it would be better for Sony to still attend PAX East this year.
Keep in mind, according to a quick google search, Marty Walsh is a white guy saying this, AND Sony is a Japanese company, yet he's calling them anti asian for them caring more about their employees than attending some convention in Boston.
Here's a link to one of the articles that goes into far more detail for those that wish to know more:

So what are your thoughts about this? Is Sony, a Japanese company, being anti Asian in their move not to go to PAX East this year in effort to protect their employees? Or do you think the democratic Mayor from Boston, Marty Walsh, is right that Sony is being anti Asian, and they should attend the convention anyways? Please discuss.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I hope to god this guy gets elected out of office based on general principle but that's just me.
Marty Walsh is really making a lot of sense here, calling a Japanese (Asian) company anti-Asian for not attending a conference in Boston. Yep, he's making sens.

Could this be considered institutional racism? The mayor isn't upset at this racism, she is upset the white elected members found out about it."Boston's Democratic mayor has apologized for causing offense with a holiday party invitation that excluded White people.Michelle Wu drew criticism...

Do you think Thomas Menino (mayor of Boston) deliberately mangles names?Yesterday Menino was talking about the great education in Boston and he mentioned that "Martha" Luther King studied in Boston. Sports seem to be his biggest. He has talked about "KJ" and "Hondo"...
