The Iranians are just playing for time, like they were last year. There will be no deal. They'll just present the world with a fiat accompli when they've finished building their bomb and dare someone to do something about it.

It's not acceptable, but with the current crowd in charge in Washington, don't expect anything useful to be done. In a way there is not much to be done anyway. The genie was let out of the bottle decades ago and we're just seeing the dissemination of that technology. How do you stop ideas from spreading? Can you stop ideas from spreading?
In some ways it's the 1930's again with Chamberlain and Hitler.
