We are having weekly rising gas prices, in my neck of the woods gas is now at $4.60 per gallon.  Does Biden have a solution to solve the rising gas problem?  --- If one really looks into this problem, and looks he is making it all much worse.

Instead of working with oil companies, he tweaks their noses... Which one can see is not working out well, but making the problem much worse.

"Biden pulls 3 offshore oil lease sales, curbing new drilling this year
With the nationwide offshore drilling program expiring at the end of June, oil companies and climate activists face uncertainty over the future of leasing"

April 16, 2022, Biden increases oil royalty rate and scales back lease sales on federal lands
"BILLINGS, Mont. — The Interior Department on Friday said it's moving forward with the first onshore sales of public oil and natural gas drilling leases under President Joe Biden, but will sharply increase royalty rates for companies as federal officials weigh efforts to fight climate change against pressure to bring down high gasoline prices.

The royalty rate for new leases will increase to 18.75% from 12.5%. That's a 50% jump and marks the first increase to royalties for the federal government since they were imposed in the 1920s."  https://www.npr.org/2022/04/16/10931954 … -royalties

Has your electric bill gone up? Well, get ready for another increase.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimated that on average there will be an increase of 3.9% in the price of electricity for U.S. households this summer. For the entire summer, the agency projects that the average household is expected to spend 0.9% more on electricity compared to the summer of 2021, according to the EIA.

Are you noting the increase in food prices? Well, get ready to pay even more for food.

It's not that bad really... This time next year you will be looking back at this time in 2022 and wishing it were still so good.

Oh, I hope not. However, if it all becomes worse it will be a silver lining for Republicans that hope to clean house.

All kidding aside, I agree that we are in for a bumpy ride.

Stossel did a nice piece on why gas prices are so high:

Its worth the 5 minutes to watch it.

We have bad leadership in DC... the Administration, the House, terribly biased and all about political agendas... the worst type of leadership to have when trying to steer through an economic crisis.
