   Please pray for Pakistan's Ex Prime Minister Imran Khan. His life is in danger.
   Imran Khan 'is injured in assassination attempt' after 'multiple' gunmen shoot at his convoy
   
   
   
   Gunmen opened fire at Khan's convoy as he was leading a protest march in Islamabad to demand snap elections, with one bullet striking the former PM in the leg. It is unknown how seriously injured he is. The media is still in the dark. Please pray for his life.
   
   I salute his bravery, and his service to Pakistan is incredible. I stand with him! If something happens to him, the country and opposition leaders will be in great trouble. Pakistan loves him!

   There were two gunmen. One has been arrested! Imran Khan would have died today if someone from the general public had not stepped in to help. When one of the gunmen opened fire on him, the person moved the attacker and caught him. Bullets hit both of Imran Khan's legs.

   I think this should be in the politics category, not HP Community.
   
   If you want my opinion, I think that the way Pakistani politics is, once Khan fell out with the army, he became a dead man walking.
   
   Political assassinations are never a good thing in democracies and should be condemned, even when it's a dysfunctional democracy like Pakistan.
   
   All that said, I really don't care for Khan's closeness to Vladimir Putin. So any sympathy from me is limited.

      Khan is our pride. Thank you for your comments, Paul. I'm not looking for political opinions. I said the same thing in political and social forums as well. When it comes to Putin, Imran Khan and Pakistan have always remained neutral. Every nation must also save its people. That one line, I believe, accurately describes Pakistan's situation. Pakistan is an independent country, and no other country can rule it! Thank you!
