Personally I dont handle guns and not ever will for many reason. Although some native people who do need them for huntimg food. Or people need them for protection, especially from totalterrimism. There has been plenty countries in history who have become slaves to their Government over taking away citizens guns.
The last stand of defense is our autonomy health, farmers and truckers from the compliance theory and over obeisance.
I have little doubt that Canadians will disarm their neighbors - they fit into the nanny mold of Europeans far better than Americans do.
Won't personally have guns in my tiny housing community. Although do understand better now, why fire must fight fire for the last line of defense for citizens having guns. Canadain is moving towards communist . I do have less of an idea what US might turn into.
Right now the United States seems to be heading in the direction of fascism. Despite some people's hatred of the Democrat Party, it seems to be our only line of defense against the tide of religious right ultra conservatism that wants to take away our freedoms. More level-headed Republicans have not shown much inclination to go against that faction of the party. I don't like the ultra liberals in the Democrat Party either because I am more of a middle of the road person politically. But giving back the powers to the hothead conservatives in the states under the guise of "state's rights" is not the answer to "one nation, under God, with liberty and justice for all." In the future, we may need to remove the "with liberty and justice for all" phrase from our Pledge of Allegiance.
Centroism Politics is not the answer from any one sidedness.
I don't allow enemies or hate or killing within my circle of any kind The middle ground or balance approach doesn't involves Politics or religion. Middle ground is better than the two Political extremes or the lesser evil. Our design blocks off or bends the loosely moral of these major destructive forces, all together. It's not easy to do, yet it is a happening after 15 years of preparing for it.
Look at USSR history, when they took their citizens guns away.

There has always been debate and contention about whether or not people should own guns. There are many people who are firmly anti-gun, and there are equally as many people who believe that when used responsibly, there is nothing wrong with owning a gun. What do you think?

The NRA leadership (not most of NRA members) currently sees Gun Control as a stark Black and White issue. The NRA et al think that ANY step to keep guns out of the hands of those who shouldn't have them is ipso facto an attempt to keep guns out of the hands of ALL citizens; this is the...
