Why didn't liberals cry about due process then?

I guess they have selective due process outrage.

"Did President Obama remove more noncitizens from the U.S. than any other president in U.S history?

    Yes.

Former President Barack Obama formally removed 3 million noncitizens from the U.S. over two terms – more than any other president in American history, according to data from the Department of Homeland Security.

In comparison, President George Bush removed about 870,000 people; Bill Clinton, about 2 million; and Donald Trump about 1.2 million people during his first term.

The DHS defines a removal as a formal court order expelling a person from inside the U.S. Obama does not hold the record for returns, a separate statistic addressing individuals turned away at the border prior to entering the U.S.

According to the Migration Policy Institute, immigration and enforcement policies and practices under the Obama administration focused on recent unauthorized border crossers and those who had committed crimes.

When combining removals and returns, Clinton expelled about 12.3 million people, the most of any U.S. president overall.

This fact brief is responsive to conversations such as this one.

The issue is due process, where is the evidence that either Obama or Clinton removed illegals without due process? What does your source say about that?:

Does Trump bother to attain the necessary formal court orders?  that is the question and the distinction.

Were they under the Democratic presidents just tagged and bagged without any recourse, that distinction belongs to Trump? The court will correct that misperception on his behalf, directly.

Every president has deported illegal immigrants.

Only one president - the one convicted of felonies in a court of law - has done so by violating  the laws of the United States.

    See the difference?

For Trump followers, if he says ignore the Constitution, that's what their going to do.   For most of these people, there is no red line. It is whatever he says on any given day.

Under Clinton and Obama it was as easy as they had no paperwork proving they are here legally and then a deportation order is given.

    It was just that simple.

    It should be that simple.

If you are here illegally you need to go back to your country.

The immigration laws haven't changed since Obama... Executive orders have come and gone but the laws remain pretty much unchanged. Maybe it's time for reform?  A big beautiful immigration bill?  Republicans have the trifecta, why don't they do something to make permanent changes?  Instead of executive orders that the courts will just sweep away?

I've seen the immigration system from relatives who have come here and become citizens.  There is nothing wrong with it.  The only problem is making excuses for people who try to ignore it and act as if they shouldn't have to follow the laws.

What has changed since Clinton and Obama is you have activist rogue judges who over step their boundaries and try to take away the president's ability to make policy.

This is something Clinton and Obama did not have to deal with.

The democrats of the Clinton and Obama era weren't obsessed over doing everything for illegal aliens and ignoring the safety and needs American citizens as the democrat party of today does.

Do democrats really wonder why their approval ratings are at historic lows and have remained that way since the beginning of the year?

Suggestion: Try being concerned about the needs of American citizens.  It would be a start.

You're ignoring the asylum system.  It is a legal process through which people can come into this country. It is also the one that is most backed up... Trump has the Congress and the white house, maybe they should actually do something?

When Maga whines and moans about immigration and then does nothing about it when they have the numbers in the legislature to do so... That falls on deaf ears.

It is very obvious that the issue doesn't mean that much..

And it should be ignored.  When a valid, useful system has been perverted as ours has, it not only loses it's usefulness but becomes an actual hindrance to the intent of the process, and that is exactly what has been done with that asylum process.

Instead of helping those that are in need of aid to escape violence in their own country, it has become a method of allowing any and all to remain indefinitely in the US.  When illegals are trained to use unintended loopholes, when they are given information on just what to say in order to do an end run around the law, that law(s) are no longer of any benefit to either illegals violating them or Americans that wished to use them to aid others.

The system is broken; either get rid of it or fix it.
