Is this not serious about the Oklahoma militia? A friend called me about it this morning, I asked about it in my right winger thread but I don't know much yet. I thought I'd see some discussion about it but since there isn't any, does that mean it's not really anything to worry about? Does anyone know? Anyone who can (simply) enlighten the ignorant?

If you provide a link to your source, as in a FoxNews, Drudgereport, or other organization likely to report this type of "news" you might get a discussion started.

saying you simply "heard somewhere" will probably only generate the sound of chirping crickets. smile

That's the problem, a friend called me about it. I'm just looking online now and don't see it as news. There IS mention in several places of the Oklahoma militia doing something but it's hard to say what. People are complaining that it's treason, others say it's the only way to fix a corrupt government but I can't find anything about what is supposed to have happened! I wonder where it started, my friend heard it on the news, which news I don't know.

I haven't heard anything about this, but I find militia groups kinda scary now. We've had them for years down here, but before, they were more like gun clubs than real militia groups. Let us know what you find out!

See that?  Now you have a discussion!  I'll check back next week.  I'm sure many thoughtful opinions will have been posted by then. (someone wake TK, his insight would really liven things up)

Wow, I read the AP article. If this is allowed, I assure you that GA and northern FL will follow. This is getting scary.
