It's quite interesting to see people so quick to insult O'donnell... even though she's right.
... well, she's right about the Constitution; intelligent design IS creationism, and both are nonsense... but she got the Constitution right.
Here's the First amendment in it's entirety. Please pay close attention to THE FIRST WORD IN THE FREAKIN' AMENDMENT!!!
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
This, along with the 10th amendment, clearly makes the issue of religion in schools and religion in government a STATE issue.
Thus, since they're running for a seat in Congress, her statements were accurate.
I wanted to type this out before more idiots like Richard Adams (the quick-to-insult bozo who wrote the article) make any more idiotic statements.

Does the first atheist monument take us forward or backward? The first atheist monument was constructed on government land in Florida. It was done as a compromise when courts refused to remove a reproduction of the ten commandments. As an atheist, seeing the monument is encouraging; the more...

Admittedly I am a Constitution admirer. I think it is one of the most brilliantly created documents ever. In my mind, the Constitution is the frame that the house that is America is built onj. There has been much conversation about the Second Amendment being outdated, and not...
