Maybe its just that Americans don't like the "process" of reducing the deficit, or maybe Obama just isn't explaining it well to the masses, or maybe it's just too complicated for us regular folks to understand it... whatever the reason people are pretty much in agreement Obama is horrible at managing money!
The sad truth is, the president isn't the only one behind the plans. We have an entire government and those people who run it decide what will happen. People put the blame on one individual, but they don't even consider that it's a group effort. Kind of like watching a play, people applaud or boo the main actor/actress, they forget about the others involved, like the director, the stage crew, the co-stars... there is a lot more to consider here then the effectiveness of the president and the deficit.
Obama is getting hit from both sides in this poll since he can't please conservatives no matter what he does, and liberals are unhappy with the compromise that extended the Bush tax cuts. So he's not pleasing conservatives who either think he raised taxes (he didn't) fear he will raise taxes (and he will on the top 2%). And he's angered progressives who see fair taxes as the answer to the deficit.
The article noted he gets good grades in all other areas, which may explain why republicans aren't eager to run against Obama.

What do you think of this "factoid":Every Democratic president since Jimmy Carter left a smaller deficit than he inherited (including Obama).Every Republican president since Dwight Eisenhower left a bigger one.Does this: annoy you, anger you, surprise you?Discuss!

they saw President Barack Obama as the president of promise and reformation? During President Obama's administration, unemployment and national debt is the HIGHEST it has been. More and more civil liberties are being eroded. Despite Obama's dismal and horrific record, Americans...
