There is now activity in Saudi Arabia.
I am amazed that gas and oil actually went down today.
They are saying that Japan is one of the top 3 users of gas in the world, and with the devastation there, demand will be down for a while, thus reducing demand, and price. I don't know if that logic is truly very sound, because the way prices in oil fluctuate, I think we could accurately say that the oil markets are severely schizophrenic in behavior.
However, the middle east uprisings are sure to continue. There is mounting evidence that so many people want to live in peace with their beliefs, not be dominated under the pretense of a religious, fundamentalist faction. I think we'll see many more major uprisings in the middle east. People are becoming more courageous in standing for their values and principles.
I don't think it will be contained only inside the middle east. Many countries including the USA seem to be set up for some kind of uprising...
I wonder what the odds are that we will be dragged into it. We’ve apparently been trying to avoid it so far.
