Well this is an interesting new motivation for our politicians

Ohhhhh it won't be new Kirsten. Old news. At least to us
Yeah its not new. Those savages will never be able to tap those riches though. Besides its so much easier to grow and sell poppy.
Didn't we call the Native American 'Savages?' OH, right, the Europeans wanted to Steal the Indians' land too. :0)
If we did steal their land we'd be doing them a favor because we would unlesh the wealth and raise their standard of living.
doesn't sound like small government to me? Aren't you all about small government?
I think we should be compensated for bringing freedom to Afghanis...leasing mineral rights to American companies is a good start. That's hardly big government.
Stop being logical - it won't get you anywhere on the political forums
Not by past record, you might raise the standard of living of a few but the vast majority would see a fall in their standard of living.
For the Afghans it wouldn't be much of a fall.
Of course, they all really dream of a western lifestyle!
The women probably do... the men not so much.
Ya know I can just see the aliens coming back to reclaim this earth one day and saying ha sod you you puny humans we've been observing our little experiment for thousands of years and you are all useless, fighting among yourselves and blow us all up with hi tech weapons and there won't be no Independence day Mac compatible mother space ship to tap into and load a nuclear bomb and we'll all be dead.....All this my land, my land is all just a waste of time and space!!!!!!
Anyway I'll just sip this nice red wine and cider cranberry cocktail I have just invented and balls to the lot of it!
So who what sort of person is it that writes only 3 hubs and then writes over 159 forum posts just stirring up lord knows what? Works for Fox News, simply thriving on controversy?
I do enjoy a lively debate! What kind of person picks "rant" as a name and seeks to criticize others for what they do and don't do?
No 'worse' than your name my Dear. But now I see why another site is probably better.

With the continual outsourcing of jobs to other countries, the struggling national economy, and the unrealistic ability for everyone to earn a college degree, should minimum wage be eliminated?Just something that I have been thinking about and I would love to get your opinions on.
