In spite of the outstanding success of the school voucher program and in spite of bipartisan support for continuing the program Obama will NOT pass this bill. He's on record opposing vouchers and disputing the facts of success if the program. Obama, as always, is gauging the political winds and isn't willing to do what everyone else knows us right and risk losing support of teacher's unions!
Open your eyes libs... it's all about power!
This is political spam and it is using the forums against the TOS because you are promoting your almost hubless self - for profit.
The sooner the mods shut you and the other spammers down the better.
No - the spam is definately you getting paid to flood our forums with your sewage.
Your posts as well as mine speak for themselves.
My posts speak for me - not for some person who is paying me to make a continuous stream of posts on the same issue dressed up with different headings.
You are just a forum spammer who should quit making forum litter.
More hate mongering from our resident Obama basher? To bad Obama isn't a member of the site cause threads like this could easily be seen as personal attacks....
never mind...i guess hubbers are considering 'pay angle' is such posts too and if people are doing their job of posting 'anti obama' stuffs....well it is their work...
Really how so? Please explain how this qualifes as hate or a personal attack? I think your post is a personal attack on me and an attack on free speech!
I don't monitor individual user posts that closely so I can't say I've ever seen you launch a personal attack on Obama himself (just his policies and politics), but I have seen some rather personal insults launched at liberals, denouncing them as "evil", "sneaky", "hate-filled" and so on. As there are obviously liberal users on the Hubpages forums I wonder if this is within the TOS.
(Of course, I wonder the same about users who insult conservatives, rather than simply conservative policies.)
Fair point. But calling liberalism evil is hardly a personal attack, more of an opinion though I could see how someone might take it personally.
No, I don't think calling liberalism itself evil is a personal attack. I might disagree with it but people will disagree on politics and belief systems, it's inevitable. It's only when it degenerates into saying "anyone who believes ____ is evil" or "anyone who is a ____ is bad" that I consider it personal.
But think about it, you firstly label anyone who disagrees with you as a liberal, whether they are or not, and then you proclaim liberals to be evil!!
It doesn't get much more personal than that.
Sorry, when someone works to take.my property and my liberty I get angry and yes I believe people that espouse such ideas are evil. Still I have hope that they can be redeemed.
And what has that got to do with you claiming not to personally attack people?
I think you'll find that shouting at people that they are evil is counter productive! Try explaining why you think somebody is wrong and present a compelling argument for your POV.
In every case I have but its been ignored and the subject changed. Take this post for example its about Obama supporting unions to the detriment of childrens education... but what has it become another attack on me. Let's try to keep this one on point!
Do you not think it evil to put ones political ambition above the needs of children getting a good education? Can you not see how that is evil?
Really! The article does not say anything about supporting the unions to the detriment of children's education and neither does it attribute the move to political ambition!
Again, it is another example of copy and paste without bothering to understand what you are copying. How do you expect that to generate serious debate when you insult us with trash?
The white house is on record opposing vouchers. The teachers union opposes vouchers. You do the math. As far as political winds everything Obama does is about politics why else oppose a program both parties support? Why support ethanol when experts agree this is less efficient and less green than oil? Could it be to win favor with the farmers in Iowa?
Do you not think it would be worthwhile stating why the White House and the Unions oppose vouchers?
I mean, it might just be because they see them as divisive and plan something more all embracing.
Obama is a politician so it's a bit off to accuse him of doing his job, isn't it?
Ethanol may not be as efficient as oil but it is renewable.
They oppose them because it means less jobs for union teachers!
I don't want to have the ethanol debate here. 40% of our corn crop is being used for ethanol raising the price of food across the board.
Why does it mean less jobs for teachers?
You raised ethanol!

With so much vocal an organizational opposition to President Obama and his policies (such as they are) after only 9 months in office, is such criticism warranted? Does the opposition reflect minority intolerance, or a fear of growing minority influence?

Running off to Illinois, the Dems in the Wisconsin state legislature were too cowardly to face a vote that they knew they would lose. Tremendous statesmen these cowards are! If they had a better idea why weren't they able to convince anyone of it? It's all a political ploy...
