A terrorist is someone who commits unlawful acts of violence to intimidate, threaten and damage people of another country, culture or creed, like Vietnam, most of South America, Iraq, parts of Africa, etc.  And of course those who travel agianst this flow of violence to terrorise the countries where it originates, such as the US and the UK and all the other colonising powers.
