In light of the latest developments in the republican primaries i'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I don't see a path for Romney to win the nomination, I think after florida Gingrich runs away with it.

Umm, well, of course, if Newt wins the nomination, Obama is back in. However, I think Newt will, at some point, talk himself into a corner. smile

I agree Newt is prone to make comments over the top and get himself into trouble but the problem for Romney is it's very hard to say something over the top with the extreme right wing that controls the republican base in this particular time.they can't get enough red meat and newt is willing to provide it, a different story of course is in the general election.

Gingrich, will eventually stop himself.  He is a crazy, egomaniac. Watch his eyes!

true, he has a tendency to implode, but in this republican field he is by far the most intelligent and the smartest.

He is smart and can think fast on his feet, but he is erratic.  I though I would fall out when during the last debate, he said he was shocked to find out that Mitt has Freddie and Fannimae stock in his portfolio, and Mitt turned to Newt and said, "Have you checked your own portfolio, you have Freddie and Fanniemae stock in your portfolio too", and Newt said, right!  I howled. The dude was not ready for the new bully challenger Romney! PS Ron Paul is adorable and funny as heck and many things he says make sense.  What you see, is what you get will Ron Paul...not a hint of pretense.

he was trailing by 12 in SC and won by 14 that's a huge turnaround in florida he was 18 behind and now he's 9 ahead, after florida he'll take off and they'll never catch him

It's funny you should say that...

        ... because he can't win.

I really don't understand on what logic you say he can't win if it is obviously going to be Mitt and Newt in a two men contest for the nomination,I already stated to you that Ron Paul is the most honest and principled candidate in the race but the republican party would never have him as the nominee.

I have a feeling Romney is going to take a beating in tonight's florida debate.

The Grinch isn't even on the ballot in some states. I don't think he'll do well in the mountain states or in the northeast.

Evan why would corporations pick a man who thinks for himself, who is almost a maverick?

They won't. That's why you donate him the money he needs.

When EVERY major corporation donates to Obama, the Democrats will see how their precious really makes his decision.

Don't you think that they long for someone who won't make waves?
