The mob boss would have been indicted except for the Office of Legal Counsel policy that prevented it!
The mob boss would have been indicted except for the Office of Legal Counsel policy that prevented it!
The mob boss would have been indicted except that the Office of Legal Counsel that prevented it! The con man has been in court 3,500 times. If not he, his corrupt legal advisors, knew all along that Mueller couldn’t indict, and that the corrupt GOP Senators wouldn’t vote to remove him from office. They knew his position precluded him being penalized at this time. The bum will lose the election in 2020, and soon thereafter be indicted!
The mob boss’ numerous contacts with Russia didn’t amount to a crime in Mueller’s estimation; only because Mueller couldn’t establish it, but trump is a traitor!
The mob boss obstructed justice, and he would have destroyed our democracy if it wasn’t for the fact that his aides didn’t follow through with his illegal orders.
Barr, who auditioned for his job by sending trump a 19-page letter to trump, which said that Mueller’s investigation of trump for obstruction was unfounded, is a consigliere.
Mueller wants Congress to impeach the mob boss for obstruction of justice. Mueller adhered to an Office of Legal Counsel policy that the SDNY, which is currently investigating the mob boss for other crimes, can simply disregard. They could indict the POS POTUS.
How will our democracy survive this autocratic despot trump, and the GOP supporting his illegal tactics?
The mob boss is a crook!
As Mueller makes clear, that presentation of evidence was his goal. Since there exists an opinion from the Office of Legal Counsel that prevents the Justice Department from indicting a sitting president, Mueller’s team “conducted a thorough factual investigation in order to preserve the evidence when memories were fresh and documentary materials were available.” Their investigation specifically aimed “not to apply an approach that could potentially result in a judgment that the president committed crimes.” If, however, “we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state.”
The mob boss’ numerous contacts with Russia didn’t amount to a crime in Mueller’s estimation, only because Mueller couldn’t establish it, but trump is a traitor
Is this what trump received from the Russians as he conspired with them to destroy the 2016 election? The Mueller report states trump had advanced knowledge about the planned dumps of Democratic emails hacked by Russia and given to WikiLeaks.
After the first dump in July 2016, trump called Manafort and his deputy Rick Gates to tell them “more releases of damaging information would be coming.”
Gates agreed to cooperate with several ongoing investigations after pleading guilty in February 2018 to financial fraud and lying to federal investigators. He has not been sentenced, because he has been cooperating. Is another bombshell imminent?
Manafort had secret meetings with Kilimink and those talks included the possibility of trump providing a “slight push” to set the plan in motion. In August 2016, Manafort met at a Manhattan cigar bar with Russian intelligence spy Kilimink to discuss topics including a so-called “peace plan” for Ukraine that Kilimnik was promoting. The Mueller report notes that Manafort instructed Gates to “provide Kilimnik with updates on the trump campaign—including internal polling data.” According to Mueller, “Manafort expected Kilimnik to share that information with others in Ukraine and with Deripaska. Gates periodically sent such polling data to Kilimnik during the campaign.
Who knows what trump’s role in the Manafort and Kilimink meetings were? We do know that there is an allegation from a 2016 RNC delegate that trump directed a change to party platform on Ukraine support. Is this part of Putin’s bounty for stealing our 2016 election?
trump knew about the infamous June 2016 meeting. His minions never made a decision without consulting the mob boss simply because they were too stupid to do so, and this is Mueller’s conclusion also. Donald trump Jr, Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort managed to avoid being charged for violating campaign finance law by not being smart enough to know that they were engaging in unlawful activity.
In summarizing his findings from the infamous June 2016 meeting between members of the trump campaign and Russian Natalia Veselnitskaya, Robert Mueller wrote that unlawful activity did take place, but the men who broke them were unaware of their illegal actions.
'On the facts here, the government would unlikely be able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the June 9 meeting participants had general knowledge that their conduct was unlawful,' reads the report.
trump launched the search for Hillary Clinton's emails, as he ordered his lackeys to carry out his vile commands. Then-candidate con man asked those affiliated with his campaign to find the 30,000 deleted emails.
'Michael Flynn recalled that Trump made this request repeatedly, and Flynn subsequently contacted multiple people in an effort to obtain the emails. Barbara Ledeen and Peter Smith were among the people contacted by Flynn,' states the redacted Mueller report.
Multiple individuals were soon involved, including former White House strategist Steve Bannon and Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway.
When emails that may have come from Hillary Clinton needed to be vetted, it was Betsy DeVos' brother who put up the money to have them examined.
How isn’t this conspiracy with Russia, involving the con man himself, to steal the 2016 election? Donald trump Jr is a mouthpiece for Wikileaks as he received a message from them that read: 'Great to see you and your dad talking about our publications. Strongly suggest your dad tweets this link if he mentions us'
The mob boss obstructed justice.
If trump had minions who blindly did his bidding, he would have destroyed our justice system, and undermined the legitimacy of the US government. How isn’t this obstruction of justice?
Let’s list the 10 items Mueller cited in obstruction of justice section:
1. “Conduct involving FBI Director [James B.] Comey and Michael Flynn”
2. “The President’s reaction to the continuing Russia investigation”
3. “The President’s termination of Comey”
4. “The appointment of a Special Counsel and efforts to remove him”
5. “Efforts to curtail the Special Counsel’s investigation”
6. “Efforts to prevent public disclosure of evidence”
7. “Further efforts to have the Attorney General take control of the investigation”
8. “Efforts to have [White House counsel Don] McGahn deny that the President had ordered him to have the Special Counsel removed”
9. “Conduct toward [Michael] Flynn, [Paul] Manafort, [REDACTED]”
10. “Conduct involving Michael Cohen”
Regarding these items, the Mueller report states, “Repeatedly, it appears Trump may have been saved from more serious legal jeopardy because his own staffers refused to carry out orders they thought were problematic or potentially illegal. The President's efforts to influence the investigation were mostly unsuccessful, but that is largely because the persons who surrounded the President declined to carry out orders or accede to his requests. Comey did not end the investigation of Flynn, which ultimately resulted in Flynn's prosecution and conviction for lying to the FBI. McGahn did not tell the Acting Attorney General that the Special Counsel must be removed, but was instead prepared to resign over the President's order. Lewandowski and Dearborn did not deliver the President's message to Sessions that he should confine the Russia investigation to future election meddling only. And McGahn refused to recede from his recollections about events surrounding the President's direction to have the Special Counsel removed, despite the President's multiple demands that he do so. Consistent with that pattern, the evidence we obtained would not support potential obstruction charges against the President's aides and associates beyond those already filed.”
In all of these actions the mob boss didn't act as POTUS. Think about ordering the White House counsel McGahn around like he was your lawyer, rather than representing the office of the White House. The mob boss TV reality star, masquerading as POTUS, will end up in jail for sullying our nation and its institutions.
Not in the list of 10 is that trump exhibited a dishonest intent when he ordered national security adviser K. T. McFarland to write a memo claiming the con man hadn’t told Flynn to discuss sanctions with Russian Ambassador Kislyak.
After firing Comey trump, the Mueller report states, he “became aware that investigators were conducting an obstruction-of-justice inquiry into his own conduct. That awareness marked a significant change in the President's conduct and the start of a second phase of action. The President launched public attacks on the investigation and individuals involved in it who could possess evidence adverse to the President, while in private, the President engaged in a series of targeted efforts to control the investigation. For instance, the President attempted to remove the Special Counsel; he sought to have Attorney General Sessions unrecuse himself and limit the investigation; he sought to prevent public disclosure of information about the June 9, 2016 meeting between Russians and campaign officials; and he used public forums to attack potential witnesses who might offer adverse information and to praise witnesses who declined to cooperate with the government. Judgments about the nature of the President's motives during each phase would be informed by the totality of the evidence.”
Barr is trump’s consigliere.
Barr might soon say that his mob boss has been cleared of grabbing women by their private parts as a result of the Mueller report. It couldn’t reduce his legacy to any lower depth.
In the article “Mob Boss Was Going to Take the 5th If Subpoenaed” we detailed Barr’s history of being a GOP operative. Barr has ruined the Justice Department and is nothing but a mob boss trump’s made man!
Barr repeatedly declared that Trump had been cleared of collusion, words that were music to Trump’s ears. Mueller’s report did not actually make a finding on that claim. After all, Mueller is a prosecutor, and “collusion” is not a prosecutable offense.
Of course, Barr lied about Russian coordination. “Thanks to the Special Counsel’s thorough investigation,” Barr said, “we now know that the Russian operatives who perpetrated these schemes did not have the cooperation of trump or the trump campaign — or the knowing assistance of any other Americans, for that matter.” Mueller noted numerous incidents of Russian operatives working with trump!
Mueller couldn’t fully investigate the trump and Russian conspiracy to steal the 2016 election because all of the con man’s mobsters lie habitually. You know why they did? Barr has a history of pardoning GOP crooks as he did for Bush 41! Mueller’s report stated “Some individuals invoked their Fifth Amendment right against compelled self-incrimination and were not, in the Office’s judgment, appropriate candidates for grants of immunity,” Mueller writes. He notes several legal limits and then adds that “[e]ven when individuals testified or agreed to be interviewed, they sometimes provided information that was false or incomplete, leading to . . . false-statements charges.”
Barr has to testify to Congress on May 2nd. House Judiciary Committee Democrats will press him, but this experienced GOP operative will not give them anything he doesn’t want to!
Mueller wants Congress to impeach Congress for obstruction of justice.
Mueller clearly laid out what role he sees Congress taking. Here’s what the Mueller’s report actually says:
“The conclusion that Congress may apply obstruction laws to the President’s corrupt exercise of the powers of office accords with our constitutional system of checks and balances and the principle that no person is above the law.”
Mueller wrote that no person — not even the president of the United States — is above the law, and that the US Constitution doesn’t “categorically and permanently immunize a President for obstructing justice.” Congress’ next steps will be critical because Mueller’s report explicitly states, “while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.”
Mueller didn’t want Barr to make unauthorized declarations regarding his report. Mueller realizes that since he couldn’t indict trump, the proper venue for prosecuting trump would be Congress. Congress has a political choice to make regarding it though.
How will our democracy survive this autocratic despot trump, and the GOP supporting his illegal tactics?
The mob boss would have been indicted except that the OLC policy prevented it! His legal advisers knew that if they could get him to relent on his pledge to undergo an interview with Mueller—in which he would commit perjury, and is the standard in presidential investigations, that he wouldn’t be indicted. They also knew, that as of now, very few GOP Senators have voted against trump, and that the Democrats would never get the 20 of them they need to remove him from office!
The mob boss’ numerous contacts with Russia didn’t amount to a crime in Mueller’s estimation, but trump is a traitor! How will he be able to strut before his low-information base after this? A real estate huckster needs swagger. Did you ever have one say that the house you were considering buying was merely in an adequate location and was merely mediocre? Democrats don’t have to say a word about impeaching the TV reality star. This stink won’t wash off!
The mob boss obstructed justice, but what can be done to punish him until he is out of office? I can see trump, on his last day resign, in order that Pence can pardon him!
Barr is a consigliere. His legacy is further tainted, but he was involved in coverups and pardons previously. It can’t descend much lower after how much it was sullied by his infamous tactics for Bush 41!
Mueller wants Congress to impeach the mob boss for obstruction of justice. It is a political decision. How do we let the con man get away with this, and not expect the next GOP POTUS to do even worse? We saw though, that President Clinton’s polls increased after his impeachment. Do we want to endure another 4 years of this reality TV administration? Can our democracy survive it?
Every duplicitous GOP politician running in 2020 must be confronted with their support of this vile despot. Our democracy must survive. Polling suggests we can’t impeach him. We must win in 2020.
