   What movie did you love as a child that now, as an adult, can't believe you liked?
   
   Mine was "Masters of the Universe"! I loved as a kid but, after watching it for the first time in over 20 years I was very disappointed in the whole story of the movie!

   I'm not sure about movies, but I can't believed I loved Scooby Do so much as a kid. The stories were all the same and chesy. The Scooby Do Movie was kind of fun, though.

   In 1957, when I was 9, my dad took me to see Forbidden Planet, and I thought it was brilliant.  As an adult, I don't dislike the film, but I can see how poor it is compared to modern productions of science fiction, the story, of course, is brilliant, based on the Tempest, that's only to be expected.
   I suppose I could say the same about all those old Flash Gordon, and Marvel Man films I used to enjoy watching during the 50s at Saturday morning pictures, if they come on the telly now, I watch them for a laugh, I still enjoy the films, but in a different way.

   I loved The Power Rangers, and as an adult, like you said, can't believe I was THAT entertained by the movie or TV shows.

   Princess Bride!  Also what about scary movies? They used to scare the crap out of you,  and now as adult, You can't believe you were afraid of that! (jason, freddie, and chuckie)  And Jason really didn't do anything, he moved in slow motion, yet always seem to catch the person, and classic horror film victims stupidly running thru the woods in high heels lol

   The neverending story. Loved that movie when I was a kid, watched it all the time. Couldn't sit through half of it today, my kids won't even watch it.

   My mother took me to Disney's Song of the South back in the late 70's.  I would sing Zippty Do Dah all day.  Now I'm like that movie was about slaves!

   It's not a movie, but I can't believe I was entertained (and not annoyed by) Blue Peter. Although, I think there were a lot of children's television programmes I feel that way about.
   
   Of course, a lot of children's films work on both levels - since adults usually have to go to the cinema with their children. As such, there are a lot of children's films I still love - Toy Story being one of them!

    Ladybugs -- I hate to speak ill of the dead, but my partner and I watched this recently, and I couldn't believe I actually found this funny at one point in my life. Rodney Dangerfield just comes across as a pig-headed imbecile, and the background story is absolutely ridiculous.
    
    Funny how easily kids are entertained sometimes; I'm quite certain at this point that I only liked it because it involved soccer.
