Is Milk a barrier to contracting BSE. And will it have the same effect on such things as Altzeimers
Calfs do not get the illness. This was stated once in the news, but seems to have been quickly pulled /dropped. Why was this? Is there any truth to the thought that the medical profession are guarding it as a secret, getting funding until they can make money from it in tablet or injection form. See. What food is in the pills we take??
The problem with this is the lack of proper information the media tends to give out about particular livestock illnesses like BSE (Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy). Personally I've never heard of anything like this and I think it is pure bull-crap. And I'll tell you why:
Milk contains proteins just like every part of an animal contains proteins which makes up its body parts. BSE is caused by prions, which are misfolded proteins. These prions can easily (albeit slowly) travel in the bloodstream to the cow's brain and/or spinal cord. When this prion or prions is/are in the bloodstream, it means that they can also be deposited in the milk. The calf drinks this milk, and these prions settle into the calf's bloodstream. The problem with the media is that they tend to make one think that as soon as the calf has drank milk from a BSE infected cow, this calf will soon show signs of "BSE infection", just like if cows eat BSE-infected animal byproducts, they will get "infected" with it soon too.
Not so.
Prions take 2 to 8 years to incubate. Viruses, bacteria, fungi take days to weeks to incubate. THAT's the difference! BSE doesn't start showing itself until that calf is a mature adult, which makes these crazy scientists and the common population to think that "hey, milk from BSE cows don't affect calves, so why should it to us?" WRONG!!!
THAT's why that statement had been removed! It's all because of two/three simple words: FALSE ADVERTISING and MISINFORMATION. And there, above, is the reason why they had to omit that statement.
