5 Things You Must Do Before Your Wedding
Being a demanding bride is not only annoying but unnecessary. Your hairstylist is your artist when it comes to how the hair should be worn with the veil. They know the shape of your face, the texture of your hair and they will create your style to look stunning on you. If an up sweep is chosen, or loose curls let her build on your beauty. He/she is the one who has gone to school to become an expert in their field not you. What you may have chosen may not be flattering with your veil. Dark make-up and shaggy hair is not what your groom or anybody else wants to see on your special day. You are there to be complimented upon, not gossiped about!
There are a few simple steps to make your wedding day a memorable one, especially when you are under a lot of pressure.
Prior to your wedding day make an appointment and bring the veil or hairpiece you have chosen along with any magazines that have hairstyles that you may like. If you are wearing accessories also includes those when your hairstylist is creating your new look. It’s also a good idea to bring a picture of your wedding gown so your hairstylist has an idea of what your gown will look like with your hairpiece.
If you are also including a make-up artist bring your digital camera or camcorder along with color palettes so they get an idea of what you believe may work for you. If they choose to change the colors handle it well, they went to school for the art and know how to blend colors to match your skin tones.
Your hair and make-up artist will provide you with what your style should be and the color blends you should wear. Always be open to their choices they are for your beauty and not against it. After both of these appointments have been made, schedule the last appointment for the day of your wedding. Jot it down or place it in your cellphone as a reminder. It will alleviate stress for you on your wedding day.
Even though you are under extreme pressure remind yourself to be well-mannered and not defiant or arrogant. On television they may act like ‘Bridezillas’; but you can always remain elegant and poised. Remember to always thank your artists and always leave them a nice tip. Not tipping is not only snide its rude! They have spent countless hours, listening intently to your choices, re-scheduling appointments to meet your needs, flipping through magazines and making countless changes throughout your preparation. Tipping both your hairstylist and make-up artist makes them feel not appreciated; but it also tells them that all of the hard work was not done in vane.It will soon be over and the honeymoon will begin. So make this time memorable not a nightmare. As you prepare for your special day remind yourself that all eyes will be on you, so relax and shine.
