Can we do it for the sake of love?
Love seems to be one of the most difficult things to understand even though some people think it is easy to love. Yes, it may be easy to love and to do some things for the sake of love. However, no matter how easy it is for some people to love, there may come a time we wonder what is the right thing to do for the sake of love?
I have heard various story of love and what love have done to people. Some people killed for the sake of love, while some took their life because love was not returned to them. That is someone they love failed to love them back or others denied them the opportunity of sharing their love together just as in the story of Romeo and Juliet.
I am looking at this from the angle of people who claim that they can do anything for someone they love so I ask, how true can it be?
This is because there may come a time when someone you love may want you to step aside so that he or she can be happy.
The question, is can we step aside or leave someone we love if that is all he/she wants us to do for his/her happiness?
Can we do it for the sake of love? Even when our partner says, “I need a divorce because I want to be happy?” They belief they can be happy without us while we still need them and love them so much that we do not want to live without them.
I read a hub that a man killed an ex-wife because she wanted out and the man said, it must be him or no else.
So is it easy for us to leave the one we love if that is all they want to be happy?
Maybe at this point it will depend on us doing what we want or what the one we love wants. That is why I ask, can we do it for the sake of love just to make them happy even if it will cost us our own happiness?
