I've learned...

That love, not time, heals all wounds.

Life as it is; pain, anger and disappointment are an inevitable part of it. It is wiser to count your blessings all the time, knowing what you have and appreciate it - that is better than crying over bitterness in life.

I've learned ...

That the easiest way for me to grow as a person is to surround myself with people smarter than I am.

Life is really about non-stop learning and growing. To have someone to consult with when we have questions in life is certainly a blessing indeed.

I've learned ...

That everyone you meet deserves to be greeted with a smile.

Life can be tough at times for anyone, so you and I deserve a smile, a pat on the shoulder, a word of encouragement, a cheer for good work and support to continue the journey.

I've learned that ....

That one should keep his words both soft and tender, because tomorrow he may have to eat them.

Being assertive is fine, but avoid being offensive. Words came out from your mouth cannot be taken back easily.

I've learned ...

That a smile (or laughter) is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.

If you don't believe me, look into your mirror. *laugh* And if that's not convincing enough, read this hubs below :

 I've learned ...

That no one is perfect until you fall in love with them.

 I've learned ...

That I can't choose how I feel, but I can choose what I can do about it.

Unevitably, all of us will have down time in life.  It is up to us to either crying over the spilt milk or stand up, clean up the mess, and get on with life...

I've learned ..

That everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you're climbing it.

Yes, whatever project you are working on now, let the process be a memorable one, even if it stressed you out.

 I've learned ...

That it is best to give advice in only two circumstances;

when it is requested and

when it is a life threatening situation.

Most people learn best when they ask questions or seek for advice. For many people, being given an advice is an insult to their abilities. Unless it is a life threatening situation, it is most encouraging just to trust another person ability to perform and provide them with encouraging words.

I've learned...

That the best classroom in the world is at the feet of an elderly person.

Who can fight the wisdom and experience of an elderly person.

 I've learned ...

That when you're in love, it shows.

Need I say more ?

I've learned ...

That just one person saying to me, "You've made my day!" makes my day.

Thoughtful words and deeds can really make his or her day. Be always sincere, sweet and kind.

I've learned ...

That being kind is more important than being right.

At times in life, when something is trivial, it is better to closed one's eye, and be kind, rather asserting the rightfulness.

 I've learned ...

That you should never say "no" to a gift from a child.

A child is the most sincere and pure human being in the world. They give from the bottom of their heart. Now, how could you reject that ?

I've learned ..

That I can always pray for someone when I don't have the strength to help him in some other way.

If you believe in God, prayer is the most powerful tool to help any single human being in this world. Don't underestimate the power of prayers.

I've learned that ...

That no matter how serious your life requires you to be, everyone needs a friend to act goofy with.

We need these buddies in life. Someone we can joke with when we bored. Someone we can talk to when we are feeling down.

I've learned ...

That sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to understand.

Often, when a friend is feeling down, all that he/she needs is a shoulder to cry on and an understanding heart. Anything else may be unhelpful.

I've learned ...

That simple walks with my father around the block on summer nights when I was a child did wonders for me as an adult.

For children, to spend time with them is to love them.

I've learned that...

That we should be glad God doesn't give us everything we ask for.

...because He has a better plan.

I've learned ...

That it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.

Don't get so busy until you don't have time to stop and listen to the bird singing on the tree, street performer performing on the street, and listen to a child's talking.

I've learned ...

That under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.

I've learned ...

That the Lord didn't do it all in one day. What makes me think I can ?

Be patient. Be persistent. Hold on to your vision. Take a step at a time. You will reach there sooner than you realise it.
