How to show your love with gifts of affection
The first thing to understand about this type of lady is that not all gifts of affection are store bought. It is alright to love your lady and be able to show her, even if you're on a tight budget.
"Put your money where your mouth is" - or if you're thrifty - put your craftiness where your mouth is.
Your sweet-heart wants to have tangible things that remind her of just how much you care.
- Buy (or hand make) cards.
- Buy (or pick) her some flowers.
- Take a camera with you when you go out and do things so that you can later give her pictures of those memories. Turn them into a craft, put them in an album, or give her the supplies for scrap-booking if she's into that sort of thing.
- "hey honey, I stopped off at the gas station on my way home, I picked you up your favorite candy bar." - says you were thinking of her without breaking the bank.
Date ideas:
Take her out to craft shows, fairs, carnivals, or any other place with booths where you could buy her things. She will be all a flutter going from one booth to another "window shopping" for what she really wants to have to remember the day by. If you are on a budget it is alright to let her know what your spending cap is.
Sign up for a craft class together. Present your finished craft to her as a gift of your love. She will remember the fun time you shared while making it whenever she looks at it.
Visit a museum or zoo with a gift shop. Even if it's just a key chain, she will love it.
Take a walk on the beach and find a pretty shell for her or a shark's tooth.
The important thing to remember about your lady is that she adores "keep sakes". This is how she reconnects to the feelings she has about you and the great times you've shared.
