What to Put into a Religious Wedding Card or Message

Wedding Sentiments

Life is precious, and flying by. I find myself saying this more and more the older we get. It is a great thing to celebrate when we can, and enjoy ourselves. One of the greatest things worth celebrating is when two people find that special someone that they want to dedicate their lives to forever. This is no small thing, especially now. More than ever, when people are ready to make that kind of commitment, we want to celebrate with them in their joy.

I have another hub dedicated to non religious sayings for a weeding card or message. Some people want to leave religion and God out of things, and that is fine and their right. Many however, do want to include God in their marriage and lives, so an appropriate message is in order. Regardless, there are a few sentiments below that just about anyone can use. There is nothing formal here. I just hope to give some ideas or help in trying to come up with the right words to wish the new couple a great start.

Wedding Sentiments

Its Your Big Day - May God bless the love you two have found together, and bless you in all the years ahead that you have together.

Congratulations on your Marriage to one another. May God bless you both throughout your life together.

May your joy in all your years together, only continue to grow and grow. Congratulations.

Wedding Wishes and Blessings for the Bride and Groom, Congratulations!

May your marriage be filled with much love and happy memories for many years to come. God Bless you both!

What a joy it has been to watch you two come together, and grow in your love for one another. Wishing you the very best on your new life together.

Sharing in the joy of this very happy day. Congratulations to you both!

God has so many more wonderful things in store for the future! Wishing you the best as you begin your new lives together.

May you both continue to experience God's special blessings as you begin your new life as husband and wife.

Congratulations and Best Wishes to the Happy Couple!

May God Bless you on your Wedding Day.

Wishing you a whole lifetime of happiness together! Congratulations.

May God always hold you close, and fill your lives with love and happiness right from the very beginning.

Best Wishes to a Wonderful Couple on your Wedding Day.

Wishing you both the most blessed and happy Wedding Day possible.

May your love for God and love for each other continue to grow all your lifelong. Congratulations on your Wedding.

Rejoicing with you on this very happy occasion, Your Wedding! God bless you both.

Wishing the very best on your Wedding Day, and also for the years to come. We are so happy for you.

** Verses that might fit well in a religious wedding card or message

"The Lord bless thee and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee." Numbers 6:24

"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4

** Something to keep in mind - I have saved all my cards and messages that anyone gave to us on our Wedding Day. I know of many others that have done the same. Know that your words matter and will be remembered for a long time to come. Your thoughtfulness will last long past the initial giving of it!
