Don't Give Up on Love - Give It One More Try
One, two, three or a number of men and women probably find their own list of reasons to stop hoping to fall in love again. Maybe you’ve tried doing everything to the extent of falling on your knees to save a relationship, or have almost climbed to the top of the world’s tallest building ready to jump off; or could be that you have not thanked the person who have hurt you for the good times you have shared, causing the parting in so much pain, and thanks that you survived…whew!
Probably one of the worst things we can do is to live our lives from day to day as if we’re waiting for something or someone to happen. However, I’m not so sure if stopping the hopes to love again is something possible. Every human being longs an intimate relationship to give love and be loved. Denying this hope leads one to miss a lot of things.
The Joys of Attraction
Attraction is exciting. It brings glitters to the heart and mind. It's like some sort of invisible force that makes everything seems to feel good.
Everyone who comes in contact with our lives leaves a part of himself or herself in us. Just because someone hurt us deeply does not mean that no one in the world wants us or that we are not worthy to fall in love again. If we don’t recognize this beautiful opportunity, chances are we will have a very hard time freeing ourselves from being discouraged. We will end up missing opportunities in life and leaves us still feel lonely and alone.
The challenge is ... when a spark of it does come along, is to not run away. Are you interested in how attraction works?
The Possibility of One True Love
It's good news that no age, color or distance can get into the way to love again. Sometimes, as hard as we try to prevent it, true love just comes.
Many lovers who endure failed romances give up on ever finding true love. However, there's also truth that convincing ourselves to put focus and energy into the positive things will one day bring us to something spectacular with life. There’s this wisdom I read somewhere, “Don’t be like a fly in the bottle of wine who thinks it is the sweetest place in the world because it is the only place he has ever been.”
To love again is not easy. But if we do ever take a leap of faith, we have a better chance of seeing what true love really feels like. An open and hopeful heart makes all the difference for the broken lover who gives up on a chance to have a happy life again. The ABCs of Love shall help build it strong.
The Opportunity to Fight Defeat
The biggest work needed here is a clever and mature attitude to help teach the heart face and triumph over problems that were created in the past. Whatever they are, we know how we must find the courage to resolve them. It’s hard to admit, but an unteachable heart never learns and a closed one will never get to see this hope.
These high ethical standards will help us make it for a new love. This probably is also the strong basis why mature-minded couple are much more able to keep things going even though a thousand miles separate them.
As Martin Kipp of Daily Love strongly says, "After years of disappointment, heart break and unhappy endings, it can be very easy to close down on real love. No matter what, don’t’ let that happen!"
Have You Given Up on Love?
Love can make us do great things... it helps us change for the better. It makes us strong and in high spirits. It is beautiful. It makes us feel accepted and most all, valuable. When we fall in love, we feel the flutter of butterflies in the stomach, the world looks so much more beautiful, cheerful, pleasant and everything.
We probably cannot feel more than the joy of witnessing two people who are unconditionally in love with one another. But things like this don’t happen everyday, to everyone, and all the time -- they happen in God’s perfect timing.
Don't give up on love, it's worth one more try. God may only be preparing you for whomever you will one day love again that you both grow in relationship with Him. HE will show you how to love the one for you even when it’s hard.
