If you had a lot of followers, or friends and you reached the big leagues would you forget them.
Or would you remember the ones that had helped to encourage you on your way to the top. Will you offer them the same courtesy that they gave you. Or would you say, "I Got Mine" they gotta get theirs also.
Of course, I would remember and encourage those who were there for me!
I just saw this request, sorry!
Followers and friends are two very different things to me. I have a lot of followers on HubPages, but I don't know those people at all and they don't know me. They became my followers because they chose to do so, and when they leave, I know it's their choice too. I don't have any control over that.
Friends are people I actually know, who are an active and ongoing presence in my life, some of whom I've known for decades. People with whom I have a genuine connection will stay that way as long as both they and I wish it (since friendships are a chosen, mutual interaction), regardless of our life circumstances.

I reached a major milestone, for me at least, this morning--100,000 page views. It took a lot of hours and a lot of hubs to get there. Not much money but a lot of fun and satisfaction from efforts to make my views known to the world, or at least to my page viewers.

I have at least 100 followers. Thanks to all the hubbers who have followed me and supported me here in hubpages. And to all hubbers out there who visited my hubs and commented. Thanks hubpages.

Not complaining but I don't understand hub. In an attempt to get involved, I started following a lot of Hubbers. Many of them followed me back and I am seeing a dramatic increase in viewing traffic for my hubs. I guess Hub didn't like this since they took my score from 89 to currently 78 and...
