Do relationships begin with too much passion?
Should friendship come first between two people who see themselves trying to build a lasting relationship?
If the passion is there, it's there. How do you have a choice about a gift like that? Why would you dial down the heat if it is there? In my experience you can be friends and passionate lovers. I would not choose to exclude either one. If you are trying to build a lasting relationship, I would think you would really want to have the passion along with it.
I think it can go either way. If you don't develop a friendship sometime in your relationship it is doomed. You can start off passionate and learn to become friends.
