How Do You Pack a Tuxedo or Wedding Gown for Traveling to Unique Wedding Destinations?
First, it needs to be on a hanger inside plastic (the sort the dry cleaners use to cover items when they are cleaned.) You can fold over the Tux or the gown - in two - and there won't be creases.
If the gown is a big one, with loads of petticoats and frills etc, then my advice is you don't pack it in a suitcase, you put it in the transparent thin plastic, already mentioned, with the hanger, and fold it into one of those nylon 'suit bags' and carry it separately. Here's an example of the nylon zip bag.
If I could, I'd avoid doing so by arranging to rent the attire at the destination.

Should a groomsman or best man have to pay for his own tuxedo? If you are asked to be in a wedding party as a groomsman or a best man, shouldn't the bride and groom pay for all of the tuxedos and bridesmaid dresses?
