    From Mom:
I pulled a man from the bottom of a swimming pool and taught children to swim.  I've also rescued a family who was being held as slaves by their landlords.  And helped locate and rescue a kidnapped child.  I don't know that I'd call them heroic, but they were pretty helpful.

Once mom saw a car and truck parked on the road. The truck's men were surrounding a with a girl and baby.  Mom stopped and told the men she would ride in our car with the carseat. The girl was terrified of the men. Mom left with the girl and baby.

I am not claiming credit at all. But, I truly hope the one's I have witnessed to, Several have accepted Jesus into their hearts. The greatest gift ever given from God. ALL THE GLORY goes to God. I am but a vessel trying to spread the "Great News" of Jesus Christ. What better reward than to spend eternity in Heaven.

Driving home from work very early one snowy bizzard morning, after working a double shift at the hospital..I noticed an two elderly women waiting at a bus stop, there was no one else around..it was very cold..I stopped and offered them a ride...they were going to visit a sick friend...we had a nice chat ( they kept me awake and alert)..drove them to their destination....the next day ( my day off) I was watching TV..the news anchor was talking about snowplow and truck that had crashed into a building taking out the exact bus shelter where those women had been standing..and had I not come along..they would probably be dead....
It sent chills down my spine.....being in the right place at the right time....

KJ.gives me chill. You're an angel sent by God for them because of your kind, understanding heart, God chose you to be there at that time..and by taking them to their destination, even if they're strangers is a very noble act of a person. Thankyou!

I've had a few incidents like that myself and it is miraculous.  You were put in the right place at the right time and did the right thing.  That's what heroism is about.
