I'm not healthy. So what?

One of the most common question one may ask themselves is why should I take care of myself if I am going to die anyways?

There actualy are lots of reasons such as you naturally get more energy when physically fit, it allows you to do and experience more things, you will not spend a lot of your life in pain if you don't and it actually allows you to save money later on in life. The remainder of this article will answer that question in more detail. Here is a more detailed answer of each reason.

  • You naturally get more energy: If you eat a carb heavy diet and don't work it off, not only is it eventually going to store to fat you will also have significantly less energy as the day goes on. The same thing can happen if you drink to much caffeine which is often found in various types of coffee, sodas and energy drinks, You would find excess carbs in pretty much anything that contains heavy amounts of non whole grain breads. The basic reasoning with more energy also leads into the next reason.
  • You will be more productive. If you have more energy you at least have the option of choosing to be a more productive person to society because you won't have as much of a need to worry about your own health. Since this allows you to be more productive at work it could potentially boost your income.
  • You can experience more in life: Let's face it.If it hurts to even stand up, obviously you are not going to be able to chase your kids, go on long walks and it eventually could get to the point that going to something simple like the movies can be become a chore. Airports even have a history of discriminating against people who are extremely overweight due to the vast amount of space a large person can take up and because of how small the seats are.
  • You can spend more time with friends and family: If your not sick you will not have to spend as much time at the doctors office. This frees up time you can spend with your loved ones and naturally gives you more money to do things that you want to in life.
  • You will spend less time in pain: One of the reasons some types of food are not good for you is because they cause inflammation of muscles. Whether you realize it or not everybody has muscle imbalances and sometimes excess amounts of junk can inflame your weak muscles even more.

So in conclusion, being healthy throughout your life allows you to get more out of life and gives you more time doing what you want.

You can experience more in life: Let's face it.If it hurts to even stand up, obviously you are not going to be able to chase your kids, go on long walks and it eventually could get to the point that going to something simple like the movies can be become a chore.
