A Message From Jesus: April 4, 2011

Updated on May 26, 2011

Sometimes during prayer time I write in a journal. Sometimes I write to Jesus, sometimes I feel He is impressing messages in my heart, and sometimes it looks more like a conversation, the two of us going back and forth. To keep it straight, I write in cursive when it is my voice, and print when it is His. I’ve been going back over the journal for the past year, and am thinking of publishing a few snippets on Hubpages. The following is Jesus speaking to me:

“An eternal greatness can be born in you through the difficulties of your life. Cling to me, and together we can bring this to pass. I’ve told you that nothing is wasted in this life, and I meant it. Every stone under your foot can lift you higher. Trust me no matter what, no matter what. I’m not reassuring you about the future of this life; I am reassuring you about eternity. Isn’t that better?

I am waiting for things to come back to Me too. I am glorified in heaven, but don’t think there aren’t things I’ve lost, things I am waiting to be restored. The walking and talking in the garden that I had with the first humans is gone. All that sweetness gone from Me. I was robbed too. There should have been an Earth full of the unfallen for Me to walk among. You are not the only one who lost a life you dreamed of. I lost too. It has not been restored to Me yet. Be with Me, as I am with you. Comfort Me as I comfort you. Can you give yourself to this? This is completely unrecognized, I will tell you that. No one will know but you and Me. I tell you now, the church will not recognize you for what happens in secret between Me and you. Only I am left to reward you, but don’t be my companion for a reward. Accompany Me because you love me, because you can relate to my sorrows. Many of my sorrows are like yours, and so you can offer Me a sincere sympathy. We can be great friends if you will give yourself to it without expectation. I am the very best of friends. Many shy away from Me for all sorts of reasons, even within My own house, but I am the most loyal of companions. I can be just what you need any day, different day to day, year to year, and still always Myself. No human being has the capacity for that. Sometimes My children claim that someone hasn’t heard from Me because they haven’t heard something similar themselves: they don’t know I can speak in different voices and still be Myself. I am not a man. I made human beings in My image, but don’t think I am one of you. Then you will attribute the limitations of your kind to Me. Don’t think I wouldn’t do something because I haven’t done it in your life. My gifts are always measured. It’s true, I asked something great and painful from Abraham. He was able to bear it. I don’t ask the same thing of everyone, and I don’t speak the same words, or show the same sides of Myself to everyone. Stick with what I am asking of you now. That, I give you grace for. I don’t give out grace for all the things you can imagine happening. Don’t think on these things. I don’t give grace for it, and it can only harm you.”
