Achieving Moksha

Updated on May 13, 2018

Living a good life is important. Some people make it easy to enjoy life, others experience difficult times, so it's hard for them to enjoy life. Achieving Moksha is something that is much more difficult. How can you achieve Moksha? You must follow these steps. Realize you are eventually going to have to abandon all earthly/heavenly desires at some time before you die. You will have nothing left to associate left, giving you less Karma to experience and go through. It is not only that but helping others. Give money to charity, help animals, vote for politicians who pledge to help the world and world peace. Don't hurt others. If you help others and do good things, good things will come to you. It's Karma and Ahimsa. Buddha worked hard in his life to achieve Moksha. He abandoned his home and luxuries, and instead meditated with a group of Hindus, even convincing murderers, and his parents (King Suddhodana and Queen Mayadevi) to follow the way of Hinduism, and under the teachings of Gautama, who would become a Buddha for his great wisdom and hard work. Look up to people in history (and also in modern times) for inspiration if you need to. A few million Indians have abandoned their work in order to become Sadhus or Jain monks, in order to live a happy life. One Chinese woman named Tien Ting became a nun in 2014. She was only 24 years old, and already prepared for a monastic lifestyle in order to achieve inner peace. I agree with them. When I retire in the future, I will ask someone younger than me to handle my job for me, while I stay home, meditate, and enjoy some rice, fruits, spinach, honey and prayer to Shiva, Lakshmi, and Kali. Now, what do I believe we can do in order to achieve Moksha? Well, I believe we should do the best we can to be happy (but also avoid bad habits, such as tobacco, heroin or alcohol), help others, and be peaceful towards all living things to ensure harmony. Nowadays, we live in a world with little morals and there are a lot of global citizens who are amoral. Especially teenagers. They are not going to win at life if they keep staying distracted from school work, and they are instead smoking pot, being on all these social media (Instagram, Snapchat, etc). Don't get me wrong, I like being cool, but I consider myself Amoral. I have more common sense than my friends, but I also like to dance to music, watch Netflix, and write stories. What I am saying is: We need to change. We should help the youth of this world's citizens in order to ensure a happy, progressive and perfect world. If we all work together and help others achieve Moksha, great things can/will happen for the world around us. The thing about our world... Something is good, something is bad. Something is God/deity, something is demon. Something is high, something is low. Good people are punished, bad often go unpunished. Something is pure, something is impure. It is almost impossible to perfectly fix this world into a perfect planet. Life is just the way it is. We as humans have many options with what we shall be doing with our life. People who don't understand the true nature of the world, have less morality, and I believe we should teach people, in order to help this world and nature. We might not be able to help the whole world, but we can make some progress along this path. You might be thinking: "Guru, is there any more we can do in order to achieve spiritual victory?". Yes, there is. I will break it down for you

1. Work hard

This is important. If you work hard, it will show you are making progress in life, and that you deserve a reward. Make sure that the shared money between the manager and his employees is fair, so that we get equality, as people today are working harder than ever thanks to how technology and the human race have changed.

2. Help others

Helping others will make the people helped (and planet earth) happy. Treat others how you would like to be treated. When you do this, there is more progress, putting you closer to Moksha achievement

3. Abandon your desires

This part is very important, as in order to achieve Moksha, we must not have any karma (or actions) left to do. Abandoning our earthly desires will make achieving Moksha faster and easier. Realize that our speices does not need social media, T.V shows, etc. At least abandon your desires at some point in your life before you die. We have plenty of other things you can enjoy. We have fruit, rice, meditation, yoga, prayer, and honey.
