Three Clear and Simple Faith Steps

Updated on July 13, 2016

The reason for the steps

Most of the time you will not be able to wish things into being. But you can believe things into being. Here are three process steps you will have to walk through with your heart to receive the goodness promised to you.

What do you want?

1.Decide what you want… If their is anything that stands out in the individual healings that Jesus performed is the statement or similar statements 'What would you have me do for you?' It seems that Jesus asked this and similar questions to almost everyone who approached Him to be healed. Why would the one who surely knew everything about the persons body in front of Him would He ask for a specific request? Possibly because this would be the area the person would be prepared to receive healing in.

In other words 'be specific'

Come on Thru!!

Is it OK for me to have this?

2. Get to a place in your heart where you know its ok with God and yourself that you can have what you desire… Its important to remember your accuser is cast down. This is the second area we get stopped in. Somehow we think it is more honorable to remain in a sickly place. Either we don’t think we are worthy to receive or that we would be selfish to believe for a blessing from God when so many are hurting. So know God wants to bless you more than you want to receive it. He came to give you life and that more abundantly. It's not only OK to receive from God, it also gives Him pleasure and glory. Decide He wants you to have it, and decide that it's OK, and profitable to the Kingdom of God.

You Can come out on the Other Side

Ya Just Gotta See It!

3. Believe you have received. See yourself with the answer all your waking hours and every time you get discouraged, see yourself with the answer again. This also is an important area, and this is the area where most people give up. There is kinda a spiritual law that governs this arena. I call it the law of saturation or tipping point. It seems if we get past the first two steps we don’t saturate our mind, or maybe our subconscious mind with the picture of receiving the desired outcome, therefore we don’t totally have confidence that it will or has happened. Since God is not a tyrant and will not force something on us that we don’t really fully believe, the desire is unable to manifest. John the Baptist declared ’prepare ye the way of the Lord’!

What was he saying if not make to make the Lord a place to come and manifest His goodness. I sometimes hear people say ‘I don’t know what God is doing?, then I hear Holy Spirit say ‘I don’t know what they are doing’? We seem to ask God for things but never really prepare a way for Him to bring the answer. We never change our opinion about Him and our lot in life, therefore we hold Him back from doing what He so desires to do, show forth his kindness.

These are clear and simple steps indeed. A message of faith with a bright future, I love how you captured this message at the end, saying "prepare ye for the way of the Lord."

      Great message.

      Thanks Pamela,

We are called to beleive things into reality. You know I used to hear about people travailing and grabbing 'the horns of the alter' so to speak to push the answer of their desire thru. Maybe we need to ask for that kind of desperation again, He will show!

Thanks Tamarjo, we need more of a burning desire to bring answers all the way into manifestation, this is how the Lord gets Glory. We are too complacent.

Ask so that your joy may be full and the Father is Glorified.

Anyhow, I could go on and on.

Sure glad you came by Tamarjo, your a blessing

"We seem to ask God for things but never really prepare a way for Him to bring the answer. We never change our opinion about Him and our lot in life, therefore we hold Him back from doing what He so desires to do, show forth his kindness." Wow what a revelation.

I loved this article. We really are our own worst enemy sometimes.
