Differences between Positive and Negative Energy from People

Updated on May 1, 2015

The type of energy that is given off reflects in what the person is undergoing at the time. From attempts to control their anger or self-loathing that may consume their personality to the absence of joy or love that the negative energy will ultimately envelop. However, it is also possible to turn around the direction of the energy and make it a positive force. It must be understood that such a turnaround generally takes time, but it can be accomplished.

What is Positive Energy?

The positive energy you find in people does offer a number of different forms. However the end result is generally the same. Those who have positive energy also have the same positive feeling about those around them as well.

- Exudes compassion, support and their caring nature

- Feelings of contentment, security and wanting to become closer to others

- Surrounded by a peaceful glow

A person that emanates a positive form of energy tends to be one that embraces the best in life which radiates to those around them. People who are near those that have positive energy will actually absorb some of it and feel better about themselves as well.

What is Negative Energy?

Of course, the negative form of energy is the opposite positive and with no surprise it is derived from different sources. Those who emanate this form of energy will have an effect on those around them as well.

- The feeling of being constricted and attacked or even demeaned.

- A sense of not being safe, of feeling tense and being on guard.

- Feelings of illness and lack of energy

Those who are filled with negative energy are also people that you will feel uncomfortable around and want to get away from if possible.

How to Change from Negative to Positive

There is little doubt that positive energy is far more desirable to have in terms of your own health and well being. Turning your energy around will not be easy, but it can be accomplished if you set out to change your view. You must find a way to make the inner light that is within all of us shine brighter to escape the negative energy that is present.

It will mean having to shut out the sources of negative energy so that you own positive spirit can truly soar. You will have to find the areas that are providing the negative and either eliminate or avoid them and find sources of positive energy to help you discover your open heart. It will not be easy, but the transformation will bring more happiness into your life.

The concept of energy has always made me curious. I truly believe that every individual has a certain aura around them. It can literally be felt. Personally, i'm a huge fan of positivity . Negativity scares me.

Thank you for writing this post. Really nice.
