He's Got the Whole World in His Hands & Never Lets Go
He's Got The Whole World In HIs Hands
Do you ever feel like a spec, on God’s fingertip, like if He wiggled His pinkie finger, you would fight with everything you have to hold on? Have you ever felt like if you disappeared no one would care or maybe even notice?
Well, stop that thinking right there!
God cares, and He doesn’t use hand sanitizer. He washes you clean but, He never washes you away. He’s got the whole world in His hands. And while we give Him good reason to loosen His grip, He holds us tight in His grip.
If you by the slightest chance were shaken and start to fall like a crumb off a piece of bread, He would snatch you up. He wants every morsel, every spec, and every single bit of you.
You may be the crumb, the very most important piece that He will use to feed another. Perhaps you are the spec that completes the thread of rope He is sending to one of His lost. You are unique in your purpose and your touch upon this earth.
A child of God is His most special spec and His single most perfect part of the whole, and He will never let you go.
If you falter, He is always reaching for you. You may not be ready to grab hold. His arms nonetheless are constant, and they are still where you are. You can climb on that pinkie finger, and He will do His utmost to connect and speak to you. He will pour His spirit into you like water. He is continuously pouring into you, helping you to grow in His love. He has a purpose for you that is all your own.
This world is so messed up, I for one, am thankful not to be living for this world. Yes, it is Joyful and sad, harsh and relaxed, blissful and broken, but no matter what it is, it is indeed not the eternity we quest. For in that ultimate paradise, there will be no tears, no ups and downs and better yet no cracks to pour into as we will finally be whole.
While the world is a tempting reality, it remains purposeful and fulfilling once we choose a life of dying to self and living in the most capable hand of God.
God so loved the world, and He gave His son for us, every one of us. He would do that, why think for a second, or believe that we are not relevant to His plan?
God creates every human in His image; He loves and cherishes each of us. When you are not feeling how purposeful you are, try not to fret because His Grace is sufficient. He made no one just like you; you are entirely prepared for your spec to matter knowing you are resting in His grip.
At the same time that God is working on you, He is working on the spec right next to you. The process may not be our timing, and that fact stinks. Sometimes it stinks for a while, trust me, I know, but His timing is perfect.
I need to remind myself of that often.; we go before God just like a spec or a crumb feeling trampled and dirty, lonely and misunderstood, and all He sees is His exquisite and beautiful child.
Wow, I wish we could always see with that mirror, the mirror that reflects complete love, acceptance, and abounding joy. Lovingly is how God sees each one of us. No wonder x-ray vision is such an idyllic superpower. Allowing an honest glimpse into the core of the heart and the truth of yourself and others would allow understanding. When we see past the hurts, the denials, the masks, we come face to face with the persons God made for us to be in Him.
We are all His regardless of our stuff, our trials, our joys. We are His learning to live for Him. There are days we will be in clear understanding of His plan, and then there will be days we must seek wisdom from His teachings. He is always there; you may be in a box hiding when He knocks you upside the head, as broken as you are trying to find the words for your prayers. He says out loud, TRUST ME, I got the whole world in my hands. You are just a spec, but you are my spec, and I will never let you go.
