Fill 'er Up and Put a Tiger In My Tank!
Desire, Getting with the Program.
Being, Remaining, and Wanting for More Infilling Of Holy Spirit.
We are made, created, brought into being. The breath of life has been freely given.
We have been thought about with great insight and foresight; we have been extremely well devised and planned, blueprinted to perfection; we are configured; we were not randomly pieced together but designed and this was perfect.
We might at this or any particular moment consider ourselves to be slightly dented; we may be feeling all used up; we may have been abused, bent, broken, time and time again; a most unlikely candidate for his glory to rest upon and for a huge piece of His love to come and live in us; but He has chosen us just for this purpose; He has thought about this part of Himself in us and chose through the action of His own free will to do this enormous feat through His radical and outrageous love.
There is no other living being that thinks this highly of you and I and trusts, endures all things, believes only for the best, and seeks only for our heart of truth that He is willing also to fill.
Why?
He made us in his image.
What image is that?
You are the explicit image of a fully spiritual unique and completely individual person in every way possible. All of your impeccable and specific molecular DNA structure, every single atom, cell, brain matter, muscle, skin, bones, hair follicles, blood type, finger prints, fingers and toes are all about you and no one else. There is no one on the face of this planet of some 7.2 billion peoples that is close to being who you are. There may be some slight variations of look alikeness but that will be all. Your personality, senses, body odor, taste buds, eye signature, teeth imprint, and the sperm in your body for the creation of another unique individual are precise and special.
Can you fathom the depth and layers involved in the creation of you?
The passion that was executed on your behalf?
We are His workmanship to uphold, and He will do everything He can to help us, continuing always to believe in us, put trust into us, and fill us over and over again, even during our most undeserving moments.
What’s stopping us?
Could be numerous things?
Overwhelmed with life;
The feelings of unworthiness;
Lacking desire;
Don’t want to be bothered working at it;
Just wanting salvation as you see it and on your personal level and agenda; contented with God on Sundays only;
Did not know there was more to be had and do;
Don’t have any understanding or knowledge about Holy Spirit or about Kingdom living.
What do we need to do?
Depends on what you want?
Depends on what level of spiritual and Spirit filled life you desire?
It can also depend upon any gifting or calling you may be asked to walk in.
What do we really want, how badly?
How hungry are you for the things of God?
Don’t go with the crowd just because the parade is going in this particular direction.
You go after the heart of God because that is what you really desire with passion and persistence.
David was a man after God’s heart.
Moses was a friend of God.
Abraham also.
Jesus was a friend to the disciples and many others and showed his love for them constantly and consistently. He wept for Lazarus.
What does it mean to us, how deep does it go?
You and God together are the only ones who can answer this question; but it starts with you.
He will continuously meet us at the point of our moving towards Him.
We need to believe that there is always more than what we see, know and are experiencing right now!
Is there a price, a cost, any conditions, a contract, expectations?
There is and always will be a cost to wanting anything of benefit in this life.
What Jesus wanted for us cost him a life and it will cost us a life also.
There are two lives available to us all.
This earthly life of the here and now, getting all you can.
OR
The Kingdom life of get all you can so you can give it all away. What a paradox?
You personally will set the conditions. There is no contract only commitment.
The expectations, are only "How MUCH of ME do you WANT?" says Holy Spirit. You set the bar.
Filled with His Spirit, what does it really look like?
Obedience and Desire

When you’re filled things happen.

Filled, to prophesy. Zechariah speaks about his own son, that he would be the forerunner of Jesus.
Before this Mary, (Jesus mother) goes to see Elizabeth. (Her cousin and mother of John the Baptist) She opens her mouth and suddenly, the baby leaps in her belly, and she is filled with the Holy Spirit.

The Giftings
1Cor.12.4.13
"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines. The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink."
Life By The Spirit
Gal.5.16-18
"So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law."
Can you expect conflict? Yes, and it will for the most part come from the inside of us as Holy Spirit desires our all. The exterior warfare can seem strenuous, but the inner war is much more demanding. But; as you yield to walking in the Spirit allowing your spirit to have the freedom in Christ it was designed for and you discipline your heart filling it with the Word and you exercise your authority over the soul, your walk, talk, actions suddenly become as easy as breathing.
Will you never struggle again?
Come on, let’s be real; of course, but they become less and less, because your desire becomes more and more. The hurdles get lower, HALLELUJAH!
Fruit of The Spirit
Gal.4.22-26
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other."
Keeping in Step
Do you remember as a child you might have followed your older sibling, father, mother and tried to imitate their steps, perhaps in the snow or in the beach sand or you might have put on their shoes? The example is similar. We pay attention to what Holy Spirit is doing, by listening intently, and at times being stretched, just like a child reaching to hit the next footprint, or lifting up that big shoe and trying not to lose it off the foot. We simply apply ourselves to the desires of His leading.
Those who met with the disciples after the resurrection recognized that they had been with Jesus. There was a distinct flavor to their speech, heart and actions.
The signature of the Holy Spirit can and will be prevalent in your life.
The choice as always is up to us and what we want.
