God's Love using Bible verses
The Love Of God (NIV)
Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue, but with actions and in truth.(1John 3:18) No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him.(1Corinthians 2:9) Let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love, doesn't know God, because God is love.(1John 4:7&8) Love must be sincere, hate what is evil. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction and faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality.(Romans 12:9,12&13) Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. Love never fails!(1Corinthians 13:4-8) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.(Galatians 5:22) And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.(Colossians 3:14) The love of the Lord is more precious than gold and sweeter than any honey.(Psalm 19:10) There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear. Because fear has to do with punishment, the one who fears is not made perfect in love.(1John 4:18) Let love and faithfulness never leave you. Bind them around your neck and write them on the tablet of your heart.(Proverbs 3:3) Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.(Matthew 22:37&38) ©2008
